Point Windy Cottage was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and the hosts had added several thoughtful touches. The lake was down because it was winter, but it was easy to see with the fire pit and boat house that this would be a wonderful place to some time in the late spring or summer. We would definitely stay again when visiting family in the area.

My family and I had a wonderful trip to this home. Well appointed with everything we needed. Very clean. Nice sheets, beds and towels. Plenty of paper products, dish soap and anything else we needed. They even provided a welcome basket of local delicacies! Very thoughtful. We arrived after dark and the hosts turned outside and inside lights on. The hosts welcomed our two dachshunds. A nice area for their morning potty breaks and their evening walks. Lovely property and I would highly recommend!

We had a great time. The water was down, so fishing wasn’t great. However, we really enjoyed relaxing on the back porch. The lake house was very comfortable & had everything we needed. Justine & Bruce were great hosts. They had honey, jalapeño honey mustard & crackers in a basket on the kitchen table for us. So good!

Nice House on the Lake

This was a perfect getaway for my wife, kids, and dogs. The house was clean. We absolutely loved the screened in porch. The boat house was nice, if not a little challenging to pull a large pontoon into for a rookie like myself. It's nice and close to Alex City if you need to make a run to Publix or Daylight Donuts. It was nice a quiet. Since you’re near the end of the road, the vast majority of the noise is the lake gently lapping at the shore. Five stars. Would stay again.

House was nice and clean and hosts were very responsive to questions and needs while there. The boat house is great and the boat launch is just down the street which is very convenient. The parking accommodated our 22 ft boat as well. Would definitely go back. Lake Martin is beautiful

Graduation & Mother's Day

We came down to be on the water and closer to Auburn. The weather was pretty crummy, the house though was perfect. We managed a few quick rides. Graduation was perfect! War Eagle!

Great Thanksgiving Getaway

Had a wonderful time with family (including 2 dogs). Home was clean and had everything we needed including a well stocked kitchen to make Thanksgiving dinner. Dogs loved playing in the lake. Justin & Bruce were very kind and responsive. Would stay here again.

best location

oct 26, '24. three nights. we have vrbo'd all around lake martin. point windy cottage is located on the north side of lake. we found this location to be the most convenient on the lake- scenic drives, restaurants, dadeville. everything was as described. whole rental process was smooth and owners are super. this cottage was a great place for us. porch has great view of its lake location. fall colors were at peak. very enjoyable.

Great property

Beautiful lakefront property in a quiet cove. Great for a relaxing weekend! Clean and spacious cottage with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Owners were very helpful with any questions.
