Great house with even better views!

The house was EXACTLY as pictured - the amenities were superb and our group loved being such a close walk to the beach. If we had any questions the response time was extremely fast as well - would definitely return to IOP!

Great girls weekend

We had an awesome stay at this property. 12 girls for a 40th bday celebration. There was plenty of room for all of us. Beautiful.

Great Stay for Friend Group Getaway!

We had an excellent stay at the property! It was exactly as it looked in the photos, and it was beautiful and spacious. The location was perfect - a short walk to the beach, but right inside a lovely neighborhood, with a shopping center in walking distance. It was a 25 minute ride into Charleston. Check-in and check-out process was easy, and we had great communication regarding having our hot tub heated. We comfortably fit a group of 11. Would definitely stay here again!

Slight maintenance problems which were immediately addressed. Needed new corkscrew and platters: they immediately showed up. Super clean upon arrival. Fabulous porches with ocean views. Love those bed swings for reading! One issue: dishwasher needs replacing.

Family Get Together

Good size house across the street from the beach. Looks beautiful, unfortunately our stay wasn't as pleasant as expected. A couple of dirty towels on the floor when we first entered, but at first didn't think much of it. Primary reason we chose the house was for the pool and hot tub. The pool was filthy and in no shape for anyone to swim in it. It was finally cleaned after numerous calls but not handled well. We were not able to use the pool for half our stay. The management company stated there were known issues with the pool company. A bit frustrating to hear they knew and did not nothing prior to our check-in. Once the pool was cleaned the hot tub ran into issues and that took another day. We hoped to be hanging by the pool everyday, but only had one day to do so.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second year staying in this house. It is beautiful. Island realty provided great service. The view of the ocean is magnificent, although the house being built across the street will change that soon. The layout it wonderful for all of us to have space when we need it and large gathering areas to spend time together. The walk to the beach is quick and easy. Due to Covid-19 we stayed in and cooked at home. It was a great escape. In my opinion, there are only two things that would make this place better. The first would be to have a net to clean the pool as there were many leaves and bugs in it each day. It was full of grass on the day the lawn was cut. The other is to have different dinning room chairs. The chairs are stained and sink low when we sat on them.

Wonderful property, not well outfitted

This is an extremely comfortable beach house for a group of adults. We thoroughly enjoyed being right across the street from the beach and having the sunny pool area in the afternoons. The Island Realty management team was also great to work with. We were disappointed that the house was not well appointed with many of the things one would expect in a higher-end beachfront rental property. There are no beach towels, no beach chairs, very limited cleaning supplies, limited bath towels, limited / low-quality soap and shampoo, no cooking oils and limited spices etc. We flew in from out of state so bringing many of these items was not something we had thought to do. There is also not a first aid kit. Additionally, there is a Sonos system which we eventually got to work but not in all rooms. Instructions would have been helpful. I would encourage the owner to be more thoughtful in providing the essentials and nice-to-have items for future guests. Otherwise, great house, great location!

Everything was clean and tidy! We loved the outdoor space with the lounge area (and 2 TVs) and pool and hot tub..There were two beach accesses that were a very short walk from the home. Sadly, we had terrible weather and a power outage. The real estate company came out to check the property and to see if we needed anything. There were lots of games, and puzzles to keep us occupied during the storms. Aside from weather, we loved our vacation. We would definitely recommend this home.

The den/kitchen/dining area will accommodate all guests comfortably. The kitchen is set up for any gourmet meal that you would want to make and serve. Plenty of serving pieces, glasses etc. The porches, downstairs pool Cabana area and guest house are fabulous. We had 11 women together for a college reunion and couldn’t have picked a more perfect place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall please with the home and service. The home was wonderful, location was perfect, the outdoor spaces and seating were fantastic. Just a few minor suggestions. It seemed like the home needed a few things..there was not nearly enough toilet paper, we also had to request additional kitchen towels, there was no broom or dust pan, no working vacuum, there was just a tiny container of dish soap. It just seemed for the size of the home and # of guests that these things would all have been supplied. I will say that contacting the property management company was easy and requests completed quickly. This also included a clogged shower drain where a technical was sent out even after 5pm.
