Large house in upscale community but unclean.
Unfortunately, the check in process was very unpleasant. We didn’t receive the Epass to enter the community. We had to beg gate security for 30 minutes before they would let us in. Then, we were supposed to find the main door key in a security box near the main door. When we opened the box, there was no key. The owner sent us the main door's passcode to enter the house.
He was supposed to send us the Epass to enter the community, make sure the key is in the safety box, and send us main door's passcode in advance. Unfortunately he didn’t.
The house was very hot when we entered. We couldn’t sleep at all. The AC wasn't working. I communicated with the owner. To be fair, he was helpful. But he was not ready to send someone to fix the AC, instead, he asked me to go and check different spots in the house to find out why the AC is not working.
He sent his neighbor over next day (instead of an electrician) to check the AC. Can you believe that?! He opened the breaker box and found out that the AC breaker had tripped.
The house is very large. It's located in a upscale community and has a great view. The community pool was very clean and large too. However, the house was not tidy nor clean. Both garages were full of his personal stuff. I couldn’t park my car. Spider webs everywhere: on the ceiling, under the table, everywhere. We had to clean house ourselves, especially the kitchen. The kitchen drawers were full of the owner's personal stuff, including medicine, catalogs, drawings, etc.
The owner's clothes and his personal stuff filled the closet in the main room closet and in two other rooms. I’m not kidding, 50% of the main room's dressing room was full of his stuff. I have been coming to Irvine for the last 10 years. I have never ever seen anything like this. I can understand if the owner keeps his stuff in a single place or in boxes in the garage, but not everywhere.
The outdoor seating has a great view but it was completely dirty and unorganized with dust everywhere. It’s simply not useful or usable. Instead, I used the first floor balcony, which was clean.
The house bedding, towels, kitchen kits were very average relative to the house's rental value.
To be fair to the owner and users on this App, I have taken a lot of pictures to prove that the house was unclean and the owner's stuff was everywhere. Please contact me by email at: Mazrouei1980@gmail.com
