Beautiful Area and Condo

We enjoyed our stay at this waterfront condo very much!! The location in Horseshoe Bay Resort is beautiful, the grounds are very well kept, and the lake views are stunning. The condo was very spacious, clean, and well appointed. We especially enjoyed the updated kitchen appliances! The beds were very comfortable and cozy with beautiful clean linens. The sofa in the living room was so comfortable my family wants to buy one like it for home. The management team was also very responsive. Our ONLY complaint is that the beautiful balcony which is what really sold us in the photos, was not as pictured. It had not been recently cleaned prior to our arrival and was full of dead bugs, cobwebs, and old cheerios. Our family of four spent the first morning sweeping, cleaning, sprucing, and wiping down everything outside so we could enjoy the space. Additionally, we did not catch in the details that the grill pictured on the patio is no longer available! Sadly, we brought steaks to cook for an anniversary dinner. The community grill at the pool was not convenient for carrying food back and forth. That said, we would definitely go back and just ask that the patio be cleaned prior to arrival.

Highly recommend!

We were very happy with everything at this location. It was well appointed in every way and made cooking breakfast each morning a breeze. This gave us more time with family and saved money. We spent lots of happy time on the deck and enjoyed every sunrise and sunset. It was a very comfortable stay. We splurged a bit on the price for us, but we are so glad we did! We all thoroughly enjoyed our vacation time at this location.

Disappointing Property Management Company

The property was excellent! Beautifully furnished and everything was as pictured. However, there were issues with the elevator which lights flashing for a whole day. We missed our dinner reservations for Mother's Day since our elderly family member (mid 80s) couldn't go down all the flights of stairs. The elevator was still not fixed nor did anyone get back to us about it the next morning when we needed to check out. Thankfully, he was able to go down the stairs to leave but it was dangerous. THe Property Management Company's lack of response and folllow-up is the reason for the "OK" rating. Everything else was wonderful.

Great Horseshoe Bay Vacation

Property was as described in the listing. Recently updated and a perfect spot for our family summer kickoff. Beautiful views from the balcony, elegant kitchen with all the necessary utensils and a great location on the water. Would certainly look for a return visit.

Horrible bed!

Beautiful, well-located condo. However, the bed in the master was so deep and soft it was impossible to get on. once on you had to sleep in the middle. Two couples tried it with the same result. One husband had to pull his wife on by pulling her up from the foot of the bed. The best beds in the house were the bunk beds. They need to replace that bed!,

Beautiful Home, Crappy Management Company

The home was beautiful, but the backside of the property was under construction. This caused noise, smell, unsightly view & trouble getting to our second car (blocked by construction vehicles). Grand Welcome, the management company, was unhelpful from the start. They never responded to any of our messages (VRBO policy states that hosts are required to respond to messages within 24 hours), & we had to call them ourselves for check-in information and instructions because they were never sent. We were also notified 56 minutes before check-in that the refrigerator in the home was broken and that we would not have access to a full-sized fridge or a freezer inside of the unit. This was a problem because we had booked the home for several days and bought plenty of groceries. The people at Grand Welcome told us that we would have to put all of our groceries in the tiny mini fridge in the unit, or we could use the owner’s personal refrigerator in the storage closets outside of the unit. Unfortunately, this required us to walk OUT of our unit to the storage closets in a different location of the building anytime we wanted access to the majority of our groceries. This was highly inconvenient since my mother is an amputee and only has one leg, so she was unable to make the trip to the building’s storage closets every time she needed something from the fridge. When we contacted Grand Welcome, they were extremely rude & unhelpful - I would never stay at a property run by them again.

Amazing Stay

The property was just as it was described and more! We were able to cook and had all of the comforts of home! The bed was so comfortable and there was plenty of room for a family as well. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

We are LBJ regulars and…WOW.

WOW. Just wow. We are members at horseshoe bay resort and our kids have grown up coming to the lake every summer. This place was the best place we have ever stayed. The layout, appliances (ice machine?!?), aesthetic, cleanliness, view, patio, space, you name it. It was perfect. We had 2 families and our 3 kids and it was exactly what we needed. The kids shared the bunk space but easily could’ve slept on the insanely comfortable couch if they wanted to. Saving this and we will be back. Thank you!

Weekend get away

The condo is beautifully appointed with an incredible view. The patio has a great set up looking right over the lake with a dining table, TV, fire pit table and lots of hanging out space. The property is extremely well cared with nice furniture and appliances. Plus, its location is a quick walk to the yacht club and spa. Would highly recommend!
