Surf city fun

The layout was great. Nicely decorated without having extra “stuff on the wall” to clutter. The coffee bar was stocked with filters and pods. Lots of towels stocked! Good shower pressure even with all 3 going at once. The beds had comfortable linens with no strong odors (some places wash the sheets in strong scented products which I can’t handle). The beach entry area was a short walk, maybe longer than I expected but it was very doable. The beach was clean and family friendly. We forgot to pack our games, but no problem since they had a good stock and we ended up playing farkle many times. We had 4 people. It could easily sleep way more as the bedrooms were larger than expected and the closet space was so big that our suitcases and stuff all had a proper place for storage. I would even say the rooms could fit air mattress if you were trying to fit more people here. The air conditioner worked well even in the heat wave that week.

Perfect, quiet beach getaway

This was just right for a little beach getaway for our family. Convenient location to beach and other spots in surf city, but off the main road enough to be quiet. We loved being able to walk to grab coffee and lunch. Property was clean and well stocked with necessities and plenty of nice towels and linens. Easy check in and check out process.

Perfect location for a girls weekend

Four of us stayed here while visiting a local friend and it was a great location with very close access to the beach but 15 minutes to shops and restaurants just off the island. Everything was very clean and all beds were comfortable. Very spacious and lots of board games and books. Loved that beach chairs and towels were available as well. Would definitely recommend, and will stay again!

Thanksgiving Vacation

We came to visit our son that is stationed at Camp Lejeune for the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was perfect for our family. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Location was great. I would definitely recommend this house for your vacation.

Cannot beat the location!

The location is fantastic! You can see The beach through the next two row of houses and it is only about a 200 yard walk to the beach. The neighborhood is great and the beach is awesome! The owners are very thoughtful with the amenities throughout the house. There were crafts for the kids and games, a coffee table, beach, chairs, and sand toys, as well as a gas grill. The kitchen was well stocked and even had an air fryer. The house was Clean enough if you were going to a friends house, but I thought there was a lack of attention to detail for a vacation rental. The tablecloth on the table was quite used and even looked dirty, And there was dust And grime if you looked close enough… But for the price, I was thankful.

Great place at Surf City

If you are looking a great place to stay this is it. Easy walk to beach. Beautiful home with everything you could ever want for your beach trip. Owner is super nice and keeps you well informed. This is our second year here and we are already looking forward to next years vacation.

Awesome experience

Staying here was just an awesome experience all around. The house was beautiful and clean, close to the beach access, and conveniently located for our needs. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. I had an issue with the VRBO messaging function and they easily switched to texting to communicate any information I needed to know. I would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely Getaway!

This property was perfect for a family of 8 - 6 adults, 2 children, ages 3 and 5. It was spacious, clean, well-equipped and just a short walk to the beach. The outdoor shower was a treat for 2 little ones full of sand! We definitely will stay here again if we revisit Topsail!!

Week at the beach

Our home was exactly as described and upon entering it you could tell it had been set-up for beach lovers. The short walk to the beach made it a great location to stay. We will definitely be looking at this property during our annual beach trip. The owner is super nice and made our stay extremely pleasant.

Great Location, Great House, Great Hosts

We had a great time at this house! I was very impressed by how well it was stocked with towels, glasses, silverware, etc. anything you would need for your trip, they had! The house was clean and taken care of. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. The tvs were connected to the internet and easy to log into for streaming on a rainy day. The hosts were helpful and flexible with us. Thanks Jay and Christine for a great stay!

This is a beautiful & beautifully equipped beach home. We had 3 generations in our family (ages 21-86) stay for a wonderful short vacation & we all loved this home! I had a family vacation here last year and returned this weekend for a quick girls weekend with My Mom, my 9yo daughter & myself because we like it so much. Very clean, great location, great communication with the host …. And loved the updates , especially the coffee bar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “If you like Pina Coladas” with all its amenities! The beach house was so comfortable… clean, open, well equipped, tastefully decorated and we were all sad to have to leave! The owners were wonderful communicators throughout the process, which made everything so easy! It really made for a perfect summer vacation!
