Seemed outdated. The elevator seemed to be unstable at times. Bed was very uncomfortable and walls seemed pretty thin as could hear everything and there was a hockey team staying on same floor, was pretty noisy

Convenient location. We had a reservation for a handicapped room but the person on duty (FJAY,aka Frank) said someone else was in the room. After about a half hour of fumbling around, phone calls and excuses, etc., he said we would have to go to another hotel. Sunday morning I called and asked to speak to the manager and was told there is no manager in on Sunday so I spoken to Tina. She said that the person on duty Saturday night didn't know what he was doing. Then she said the room was not occupied Saturday night, so I said we would be over shortly and she said we couldn't get in the room until noon because it wasn't made up so I said if no one was in the room why does it have to be made up, oh someone was in the room. Lies!!!!!!! Well we did go later but when we got to the room it had a tub, not a walk in shower. When I mentioned this to Tina she said their handicapped rooms don't have walk in showers. In all the hotels we have ever stayed in, they all have handicapped rooms with walk in showers. My wife cannot get in a tub so she was not able to shower for two days. The hotel is very, very dated and needs to be upgraded. It was a very bad experience and we would never stay there again.

This hotel was quiet and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel needs updated. The carpeting entering our room was torn and the lighting in the bathroom was very dim. An overall update would be good considering the Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express right beside it looked more inviting.

Clean Quiet Comfortable

My daughter and I stayed here for a girls weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had plenty of choices and was good. It was also very quiet. I would stay here again.

Too much noise in the hallways

The hotel was very nice. However, there were young noisy children in the hallways playing mini hockey much of the evenings we were there. The sticks and pucks were hitting our door. I don’t know where the parents were, but this shouldn’t be allowed! This was disrespectful to the other guests!

The housekeeping staff is friendly and accommodating. We arrived on Sunday. The information sheet we received had breakfast at 6am on Monday. We arrived in the lobby at 6:30 and served ourselves breakfast. As we were filling our plates, a member of the staff turned off the lights over the food area. When I asked the front desk person why the lights were turned off, he said breakfast was at 7am because of Labor Day. Noone communicated this to us on Sunday when we checked in.

Average Place to Stay

The air conditioning unit in our room was leaking so much that the carpet surrounding it was soaked all the way from the window to the bed. Front desk staff was notified who tried calling maintenance but no one answered. We stayed Friday night through Sunday and there was no maintenance worker, manager or hotel staff that followed up with us nor was there any maintenance done to fix the leaking AC unit. Despite this beds were comfortable, my kids enjoyed the pool (it was really cold) and the room refrigerator was useful.

Best part was bed was comfortable. Bad parts were couldn’t get new, clean towels. They only had pool towels. The lock on our door was not secure. When we reported it the front desk lady said we probably weren’t pulling it tight enough, which was not the problem. The deadlock didn’t work either. Best employee was the guy who serviced the breakfast. He accommodated our needs.

Room 105 needs some attention.

The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The room was less than stellar. We got the last room and I am sure they use it as a last resort. The room was clean overall except under the desk where nuts from someone who had stayed previously were still on the floor. The shower head was good but the drain plug was broken and the tub faucet also needed some attention. The sink looked damaged. Like I said, we made last minute reservations but for the cost and with Marriott in the name we expected better .

The person who was above us made too much noise. Heard them stomp till 1130 pm. It was very hard to get rest. I thought the rooms should be a little bit more quiet you can hear people in the next room and in the hall. Would not recommend staying in the same place again
