Unexpected

No elevator to the 3rd floor, airplanes landing at airport next to complex very very loud, tile in bathroom cracked up, couldn't use cold water on faucet in the first bathroom it was locked, the heated pool not working nor the hot tub. Was told we couldnt use them later in week. I would not stay there again.

Nice area

The area was very nice, rental unit needs updating, walls need painted, floors are uneven in spots, washing machine sounds like a jet engine when it spins, so loud we couldn’t hear the tv! Could be cleaner!

Great Location

This was a fantastic location close to the beach/marsh but very quiet on a dead end road. It was a great base for our daily activities. Great property!The condo was comfortable and very well outfitted.

Quiet spot near small beach, recently updated but needs some general maintenance done

The beds were comfortable and clean, there was plenty of extra pillows in addition to the 4 on each bed, but no extra pillow cases. The couch was comfortable. A perfect set up for 4 adults, any larger of a group and it would probably be too crowded. The option of drip coffee and keurig was appreciated. There’s some little maintenance things that could be improved on, the screen on the back deck was falling down and it looks like somebody just used scotch tape to tape it up. The floor under the dressers needs to be vacuumed, just lots of dust bunnies. And you can tell when the place was updated it was done quickly, peeling drywall tape in the corners, little stuff like that. Didn’t really affect the stay too much though. The location is good, in the quiet side of the island, lots of walking/biking paths nearby and right on the beach for easy sunset walking. Highly recommend a sunset walk if you have time. A couple days before check in, I messaged the property management company to ask if we could get early check in, I never heard anything back one way or another.So overall I would stay again, but just have a little lower expectations than the pictures.

Great place to stay with family

The check in process was smooth and easy. When we arrived, the place had been cleaned and a goodie basket was ready for us. We especially appreciated the beach things that we available (towels, wagon, chairs, etc). The property is beautiful and away from the touristy areas. The beach was perfect for exploring. It is incredibly during low tide. The binder needs to be updated to include that the pool has a key rather than a code. We missed out on swimming a couple days until we figured it out. The flights of stairs without an elevator were tricky with suitcases, groceries, and the beach wagon but not bad for most trips up and down. Overall, we would come back.

Fantastic experience!

We enjoyed the updated clean comdo and rested well on the soft mattresses after long days exploring the beautiful and serene island. We beachcombes fish haul beach and port royal at low tide and saw many animsls and birds. Finding beautoful shrlls and sand dollars was an added bonus.

Was a nice little place for the 4 of us. It is plenty for 4 but not more. Great that it had chairs for the beach and that little cart . Short walk to the beach. Only thing that didn't work was the entrance for the indoor pool but was no problem since the weather was nice. The beach was very Privat

Enjoyable stay

We spent a week at this location and it was very pleasant!! This was our 3rd year at HHI and we had a new experience staying at the Spa. So much wildlife and ocean life vs staying at our usual spot. We have been beach goers for years and my husband has yet to find a shark tooth until this trip! HE FOUND 5. Deer, crabs,fish….it was a new beach adventure that we throughly enjoyed! Staff was super friendly. The only downside I could make a statement on was the stairs to our condo….no fault to the owners it was stated in the description but I was not prepared 😅. By mid week they got easier so it was plus for me….i needed that. It is a more low key beach then what we was used to. Would definitly stay again.

Walked around in my socks they were black. Pots and pans were nasty.. Spider webs in the corners. Lights burn out making it very dark for ourtaste. Broken toilet seat, which they repaired within 1 day which was great..

North side of Hilton Head Condo

Ideal for a family looking for low-key, nature-oriented, less expensive experience of Hilton Head. The condo’s interior renovations were great, and the management was excellent. Note that the beach access is GREAT for exploring nature and hanging out — but NOT not for playing in waves or fishing.

Time Away

The location was great! The Villa had all the amenities one would like when on vacation. Beautiful grounds and pools. The vacation binder was thorough in providing the particulars visitors would need regarding food, activities and set up. Everything for the most part were clean and updated. Would definitely book it again through the Carolina Vacation Rentals. My only negative was that the floors in all areas of the Villa were extremely dirty. I needed to pretreat our socks before washing them. They were black. 😞

The Perfect Getaway!

We had the best long weekend getaway. Quiet beach, pools, and great restaurants! Kids were in heaven which means parents were in heaven! Perfect 2 bdrm/2 bath for our family of 5! Stores and restaurants are very convenient. Communications were fast and easy. Definitely recommend!
