Beautiful Cottage! Great mountain getaway. Property is beautiful and cottage and barn are gorgeous. We enjoyed our stay and will book again in the future.

Excellent Property

The house was very clean and decorated very tastefully. Jennifer answered all our questions, so we were prepared for the visit. We enjoyed and would definitely stay there again. We have already recommended to a family member planning to be in the area.

Hillsville Getaway

Our family loved the beautiful Farmhouse! The house was neat, organized, and very clean! The outside areas were wonderful as well- all ages enjoyed the games and activities provided by the hosts:) The property is stunning and a perfect place to unwind and relax. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and were very helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely be returning soon:)

Thanksgiving Trip

The property was immaculate. The living and sleeping areas were spacious. The decorating and vibe of the house is beautiful. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare delicious meals. The surroundings were beautiful. The hot tub was great. The barn and games were fun. If I could give this property more than 5 stars, I would.

Perfect Place to Relax and Enjoy Nature

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful, Mabry Creek Cottage & Barn, is as a place to connect with family or friends or just get away from the day-to-day grind. The owners have truly thought of everything you will need to support a stress-free vacation. You just need to bring a suitcase of clothes, because everything is already there for your stay. Can’t wait to stay at Mabry Creek Cottage & Barn again.

The Cutest Cottage!

We absoluately loved staying at this cottage! On the outside, we weren't sure if we'd fit (we had 7) but we did and were very comfortable! The layout is perfect and we never felt on top of each other and we had our space. It is pretty far out there and there is not much around, so definitely keep that in mind. But it was so nice a quiet and relaxing! We had a power outage when we got there, which was fine and we just grabbed dinner in town. Greg was great and staying in touch and told us when it was back on! Communication is top key and ya'll definietly have a wondeful space! 10/10 would recommend again!

It was magnificent, it was an oasis for the mind, body and soul.

I never give a review because I would be writing all day with all the problems we had. We have been and stayed at many places and have always been let down. The pictures are always better then what we paid for. We have almost always have had problems where we stayed. Mabry Creek Cottage and Retreat was better then the pictures. It was very and I mean very clean. The house is very nicely furnished and decorated, and the grounds are immaculate and just gorgeous. The hot tub was sparkling as were the tables and chairs outside. It was quiet and peaceful and just totally lovely. It is definitely a 5-star plus place. We didn’t want to leave. Jenn and Greg have created and beautiful place to stay.

Great family gathering

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The house is very well-furnished and nicely decorated, and the hosts have provided many thoughtful touches and little extras that make the place unique and interesting. We ate dinner at the large table on the patio every night, and enjoyed the firepit, pool table, tree swing, hikes to the creek, and games on the lawn. It was the perfect setting for our family get-together. Jenn and Greg were very helpful and responsive hosts.
