It was not bad… but not good. The room had a mild. moldy smell. The rug needed to be cleaned. Breakfast was poor (awful coffee). Nothing awful, but nothing to brag about either. I would not stay there again

Always stay at Microtel when I visit the area. Great value with friendly staff and smooth check-in/check-out. Complimentary breakfasts is nice. However, room quality and wireless access can be very inconsistent from visit to visit.

Employees were very accommodating & friendly. Bed & pillows were comfortable. There were a few issues in that there was no ice (machines broken), toilets sit very low to the ground in the rooms, breakfast mediocre at best & not stocked, musty smell in the rooms. Hot water ran out. I have stayed there on business several times & these things have always been an issue.

The deluxe room that we paid for was not as pictured on the website. Our room was gross smelling & the bathroom floor was sp greasy that we almost fell wearing sneakers. The staff immediately moved us to a new room, but the new room wasn't much better.They advertised a 97 cleanliness report, but the inspector must've been blindfolded with a mask covering his nose. All you could smell was stale smoke & body oder that has set in after years of people smoking in the rooms. The carpet was so dirty & stained that we wore our shoes anytime we got out of bed. There were stains all over the desk chair, walls & ceiling. Imagine our surprise when we walked in & saw old cabinets with a sink separating the 2 beds with full wall to wall mirrors at the head of each bed. Reminded me of an old 70's style room that you would expect to see in an old porn movie. Our teen daughter was horrified! Thank god we didn't have a black light that shows ALL stains. I shudder to think of what was unseen! Don't let the outside of the building fool you. The staff was great though. They are stuck in a bad situation & I don't blame them.

The hotel needs to be updated. The outside door doesn't close easily at night. The desk clerk doesn't work at the front desk. My light in the room only worked from one of the switches near my bed. I had to turn on the bathroom light to find a working light switch.

1. While room had been cleaned, we had to move from original room to another because of a mildew mold smell. When we requested to be moved Front Desk lady said it would be a $10 charge. Was not willing to be accommodating until spoke of next step actions. 2nd room smell a little be. We purchased Lysol and cleaning supplies to help with room scent. 2. Someone tried to use our cc on file. Had to cancel card due to unauthorized purchases. Only use this card for deposits at hotels. 3. There were unhoused ppl staying there and gathered heavily in the smoking area out front. Will not stay again unless no other options.

I found it ironic that I had to sign a notice about not smoking in the building, but the entire 3rd floor smelled like an old ashtray. The room smelled a bit like cigarettes, plus something else that I couldn't identify. Fortunately, I went "nose-blind" after 10 minutes or so and didn't notice it any more. The areas I was in looked clean; they just smelled bad. I also noticed that the doors to the outside (at either end of the building) were often left unlatched, negating the security of the keycard locks on them.

Super nice front desk staff. Decent, well-kept lobby. Smelly and dank room. Dirtiest and stickiest carpet in a hotel room that I have ever experienced. Desperately in need of a steam cleaning. Cool nook by the window but the drawers were broken underneath of it. Phone didn’t work (couldn’t dial). Fan in bathroom didn’t work. Housekeeping staff wasn’t very friendly. No iron in the room. I’ve stayed at affordable places like this before but I’ve never had this disappointing of an experience. Definitely not a family stay location. Probably fine for a bare essentials survival spot for a single dude. I don’t enjoy doing reviews like this but Wyndham should know.
