"A few staff really stoodout during our stay and before the cartel trouble began, this review would have talked about many other staff that were indifferent, seemingly poorly trained, and really understaffed. It would have talked about broken ice cream machines and other poorly maintained equipment all over the resort. But since the cartel troubles, many individual staff have been selfless and worked very long shifts while maintaining a smile. These individual staff are sacrificing a lot to make a difficult situation much more relaxed and cushioning us from what their own families are suffering under."

"Rooms were spotless and staff was really courteous. The resort was clean and the entertainment team did an amazing job with the events around the pool and in the evening. We were there for the White Party and everyone in my group including my kids had an amazing time. We have stayed at other Riu properties and they never disappoint."
