Our whole family loved our wintery stay at Altitude Adjustment. The host thought of so many little details to help this be a comfortable home away from home. The bedrooms are cozy, the kitchen had everything you need to cook, and the views are so peaceful and beautiful. We loved the collection of vintage toys, the bathroom heater (!!), the large “mudroom”, and the decor. We will be back!

We had a great time. House is well appointed and view is beautiful! House isn’t far off main rd and very close to town. But if you’re afraid of narrow, winding roads, be advised. Staff at rental agency was very responsive. The only thing I would recommend is for owners not to ask guests to wash their towels before checking out at 10am. It’s very inconvenient and I’ve never been asked to do that before at any other property. Makes me wary if the towels are really cleaned and sanitized well. Also it makes me nervous to leave the dryer running when no one is there. Seems risky for fire.

A trip of a lifetime

A vacation house that feels like a home! From the unbelievable view to the impeccable decor, it was a win from the moment we arrived. Our grandchildren loved the rustic and varied toys, the magical treehouse and the fire pit where we had smores. Our adult children have stated it was one of the best of our family trips and we have stayed around the world. We intend to return!

Great vacay

We really enjoyed our stay there in Highlands and our vrbo was perfect!! Well appointed and great location, not too far from town but not too close so you appreciated being in the mountains. We went ziplining and played a par 3 course, great hiking and wonderful restaurants! We will be back!!

Lovely Home

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location is close to town and has beautiful views. The house was very charming with a nice mix of mountain character and new amenities. It’s a great layout for inter generational families. The ground floor level has its own mini kitchen and is very well appointed. Very well stocked. We would absolutely stay again. To note- you must be able to climb stairs to access the main floor of this home. There is a ground floor entrance but to get to the main level you would need to climb the staircase.

Mountain memories

House was very livable and charming. Clean and nicely appointed with both furnishings, decorative touches and "creature comforts." We were so glad that there were 2 nice decks for sitting outside and enjoying the cool weather. And a lovely view of the mountains as a bonus! The children loved the little nook under the stairs. It was great to have an upper & lower sitting area both with TV's. Property manager communicated promptly to answer questions. We enjoyed staying there!

Perfect Getaway

We just enjoyed the most pleasurable weekend at this property. It was perfectly furnished and even had quality shampoos and tissues for our use. It is conveniently located to everything you could ever want to do in the Highlands. We will certainly be back to this quaint town and we wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again!

Cute cabin for a group

We had 5 moms and 5 teenaged daughters and the cabin was perfect- plenty of space and great layout. The driveway is difficult (covered in wet leaves upon arrival- cars without 4wheel drive were slipping). A neighbor loaned us a leaf blower on day 2 and that helped a lot. Cabin was 10/10, getting to it (roads and driveway) was 3/10.
