This home is in a wonderful gated community with lake access. The pictures are an accurate representation. We especially enjoyed the downstairs family room as the sofa in front of the fireplace was comfortable and large. Having a king bed in 3 of the 4 bedrooms was fantastic and an unusual arrangement for a rental. There is access to the lake, a large balcony and a hot tub, but due to the weather (rain and snow) we did not get to enjoy these features. I would advise anyone staying there during the winter that the driveway is rather steep and if it becomes icy and snowy it's difficult to get up to the main road. I would deffinitely rent this property again.

Everything about this property was fabulous. Spacious - comfy beds - game room - peaceful area. We loved it and wished we could study longer. We can’t wait to book it again and come back.

Fabulous house with high end furnishings and appliances and in suite bedrooms for 3 or 4 couples. Layout provided exceptional space for privacy and to congregate. Great views looking out onto the lake from the large windows and the expansive wrap around deck. Wonderful kitchen with two ovens, microwave, and exceptionally large refrigerator/freezer. Very large lower level level with two bedrooms, family room with ping pong table and large screen TV. Location of laundry room kept noise at a minimum. Drawbacks: Could only get warm water, not hot, in lower level bathroom faucets, shower and bathtub. Smart TV lower level had a frustrating red dot remote that made selecting channels difficult, and no option to use home streaming service (e.g., HULU), although that capability was available on the smaller TV in the Master Bedroom on main floor. Overall: Exceptional location, space, furnishings, and amenities in a house that easily accommodated our 3 adult families. Online pictures don’t do justice to the quality of the house or the views from almost every room of the house. Highly recommended!

Nice home, not well stocked

The positive. The home was really nice, pet friendly with great amenities as far as on the lake and hot tub. I have to say, though I’ve rented a lot of properties and this one had the least amount of pans and just basics like cooking oil, coffee, sugar, syrup, barely any foil, and limited pans for a large home. All of our other rentals had many more essentials. Make sure to bring your own. While the home felt very clean. A couple disgusting caveat such as somebody’s underwear that were left in the master bedroom addition to dog poop in bags just being left in the yard.

Wedding Getaway

The location is stunning with breathtaking views of the lake. The house was perfect for our family gathering. Loved the game room, the master bedroom and bathroom! The only issue is the lack of cell reception. Even with access to the internet and an iPhone you will not have the ability to consistently communicate with anyone outside of the lodge. Highly recommend this place as it was a wonderful home to stay in for twelve nights.

Great House Bad Location

We rented this home because we wanted to be on a lake where we could swim from the house. We paid a higher price for a rental to be on the water. There were limited summer time pictures available for this house on the listing so BEFORE BOOKING I wrote and asked about the swimming off the dock. I was told it was excellent. Turns out it was not. Covered in algae and the DEQ had a warning for cyanobacteria. Hosts said sorry that is so rare. Per the neighbors, happens all the time at that end of the lake where the house is located and is often unsafe to swim. Also no cell service which was not disclosed in listing. We had both ATT and Verizon between us and no one could get cell service. We had WIFI calling out but no one could text us or call us. Again, hosts said they had never heard of such a thing. The hot tub was dirty and cloudy. To their credit, the hosts immediately sent someone over to drain and clean it. The house itself was beautiful and clean with a great layout for a larger group (seven of us). We did see a couple of live mice on the downstairs floor. We weren't too bothered by them so we didn't contact hosts about it as we did not want them to do an extermination in the middle of our vacation. We would not rent this home again because really it is not a usable "lake" house (you can't swim or safely get into the water at this location).

Wonderful family place

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It has plenty of space and also worked for our son-in-law who is a quadriplegic and in a wheel chair. He just had to use his ramps to get into the house and used a small ramp to get in and out of the shower. The only disappointing thing was that the children could not swim at the house. The lake was very mossy and green and not a good place for swimming, ever from the dock. Everything else was great. Thank you for letting us use your home.
