Beautiful property

We really enjoyed our stay in Harbor Springs. This home was immaculate and had everything we needed. Property manager answered questions promptly. There were a couple of small things broken (one set of blinds and a screen) that were there before we arrived and the manager was aware and thanked us for pointing them out. Nothing major and did not impact our stay in any way. The pools and hot tub were wonderful and the view from the deck was peaceful and perfect. We enjoyed this stay in the summer but I could see how wonderful it would be in the winter if you are a skier. Great experience over all!

Plenty of room, beautiful view

Nice, clean house with lots of room spread out and great views. A few quirks here and there. If you're sleeping downstairs, you WILL hear every footstep upstairs. Kitchen is stocked with all the utensils you could need for cooking and dishes/cups/silverware for serving, including kids plates, bowls, cups and silverware.

Family ski vacation

This property suited our needs perfectly! It was well equipped with all that we needed. Exactly as described. Our only complaint would be the check out at 10:00 am. We managed it, but was a stretch with the littles we had with us. Understand that this is necessary if cleaning to be done for same day turnaround.

Perfect for skiing!

The house was in a perfect location for skiing. Great having bedrooms on both levels. Appreciated the amenities for little kids (dishes, high chair, pack-n-play). Hot tub was a bonus! Only issues were: 1) lower level was very cold and space heaters were needed to heat the lower bedrooms, and 2) the gas fireplace did not work. Would stay again!

Trout Creek House Rental

Spacious house with nice layout for two family groupings; upstairs and lower level. It is situated on a private road with little traffic. The house could use some refreshing, inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, if desired. Over all, it was a pleasant stay.

Great property-Needs a little TLC

This was a beautiful property that is well deocrated, stocked and laid out beautifully. It does need some exterior work and the inside needs some work since the house has been well used. Nothing big but maybe some carpet cleaning and grill maintenance :)

Great House!

We enjoyed this house. Great location. The community pool and hottub were great, as was the private hottub. The place was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked for the cooking we did and it was spacious.

Love this house!

We absolutely love this house! We have stayed before. It was perfect for our family and we love the area. Can’t wait to stay again! Very clean and had everything we needed! Fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds!

Loved the property-despite a few glitches.

Very clean and convenient. Disappointed to find advertised hot tub on property wasn’t available to us. Also 400 check in was delayed—but to be fair-after being told it would be 6p they got it ready by 430.

New Year ski trip

The place was clean and spacious, we had a little issue with the garage door that we had to open it or close it walking through the front door since we didn't had the code to open it, in the lower rooms (2) only one space heater was available, but in general we had a great time and we would rent it back again, great location near nubs nobs and Boyne highlands

Secluded and Relaxing

Wonderful Home Away from Home

We rented this idyllic place for seven days. It was exactly as it was represented on VRBO. The furnishings were quite lovely. Much thought was given as to how furnish the home. There really was not one thing missing. Cleanliness was pivotal. I would recommend this home to one and all. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

House and location were perfect for us!

We loved the layout and location of this property! The house is high up on the hill, so the views through the trees are amazing. It is also located close to snowmobiling/nature paths, which we enjoyed every morning and evening walking the dog. NubsNob and Boyne Highlands are only about 1 mile away - so convenient! We enjoyed having 2 family rooms. My husband and I relaxed upstairs while the kids hung out downstairs. The kitchen has very nice cookware - everything we needed. The large garage and ski rack were very convenient - given the amount of snow in the area. Hot tub was a major plus. Everything was great and we hope to visit again!

Ski Trip

The house perfectly met our needs for a family trip, with the dog, for a week of skiing at Nubs Nob. The home was well equipped and furnished with extremely comfortable couches and beds. Pat was super helpful in guiding us to the house, when our GPS system steered us wrong. As noted, make sure your vehicle has all-wheel or four-wheel drive during the winter. It was a nice surprise to see the hot tub was active in the winter and was a nice way to recover from a day of skiing. We will definitely look to stay here again for future ski trips.
