This hotel is grossly overrated. There are hundreds of fake reviews giving it 10/10 rating. I am trying to do my part in informing travelers about this phony rating by giving the lowest possible review. The staff is wonderful here but everything else about the facility is bad.

I only stayed one night at this hotel, but I would definitely book again — even for a longer stay — if I return to Hanoi. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff were outstanding. I had to leave early for the airport, and they prepared a takeaway breakfast especially for me.

Great location in old quarter, close to many tourist spots. The staff was really kind and helpful. They gave us great suggestions for things to do, and where to eat. Breakfast was nice and had a variety of options for you to enjoy with a view from the 6th floor. Our room was quiet and clean, and came with usual nice things like iron, safe, AC, etc, and a small window/door to take you out to a tiny balcony. All in all a good value for money and a nice home away from home.

The breakfast at the hotel was absolutely lovely. There was a wide variety of options every morning – from fresh fruit, pastries and good coffee to hot dishes and some delicious local specialties. Everything was well presented, regularly refilled and tasted fresh. It really felt like the perfect way to start the day. What truly made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive and always ready to help with a smile. They remembered our preferences, checked on us often without being intrusive, and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Their professionalism and genuine friendliness made us feel at home, and we are really grateful for the excellent service.

Great location and value for what you pay - there are nicer hotels in the old quarter but if you’re looking for a good balance between cost and quality, this place is great! You’re also very close to the lake without too much of that lake side traffic. The 24/7 staff are also very helpful and friendly. They helped us book a last minute tour to Ninh Binh and were great with recommendations of what to. They connected us with the best tour guide as well, and gave us a lovely discount. Laundry service was fine and pricing was fair, but if you’re worried about shrinkage make sure to make appropriate notes.

A tremendous location next to both the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. Plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes in the area to choose from. The staff here are wonderful. Helpful and welcoming. They sorted out our suitcase due to a broken lock. The rooms are small but really pleasantly decorated. The breakfast has a good variety of choice.

Breakfast was very good with fresh fruit and a variety of hot choices. Room was bright and colourful and well appointed. The outstanding part of our stay was the reception staff. Jimmy, Celena and Linh were outstanding. Happy to change our room after one night to give us a quieter room. Helpful with directions and always a lovely smile. It was our first visit to Vietnam and made a strong impression. We recommend the hotel highly. The location is also great near the smaller lake and a variety of shops and restaurants. Being a smaller boutique hotel was also a good choice.
