On the day we packed up I saw a bed bug on the bed. I should have took a picture but I didn’t want my family to freak out so I just flicked it off the bed and stepped on it. When we got home I made everyone leave their bags on the front porch and I sprayed everything down with bed bug killer. I used a whole can. Then spent the next 4 hours bringing in loads of clothes to wash and dry. Their was an issue with the bathroom floor getting wet when we took a shower because the water puddled up on one side and spilled over the barrier. The staff gave us more towels to soak up the water. I have stayed here many times, over 12 times at least, I have never had these problems before. I will book this hotel again and hope that we don’t experience the issues we had this last time during Memorial Day weekend 2025.

I like the use of your key card for entry into your room. The housekeeping staff was very kind (for the most part). I think it would help to have a sign somewhere on the outside of the property so that you can find your room. I think this could have been better. I like the continental breakfast. I will suggest card use for the laundry room. These days people hardly walk around with cash. I love that the hotel is close to a lot of family oriented things to do. It was also really close to the Wharf, which is where I needed to be for my daughter's cheer competition. The whole area is pretty close to the beach and Foley. This was my first time down to Orange Beach, and it was really enjoyable. Overall, I can see myself staying at this hotel again when I want to visit Orange Beach. I had fun.

0 out 10. I would not recommend. Horrible cleaning conditions. I knew nothing about this hotel but my 1st mind said not to book. Luckily, I had booked another hotel for the remainder of my trip. I checked out so fast and will never look at another Microtel again. Originally booked in room 146, the sheets were beyond filthy. I was moved to room 347. It was slightly better but vinyl floors were filthy and hair was on the bathroom towels. Never again will I ever book with them in any state.

The property was in the midst of upgrade. My suite did not have a coffee table or hairdryer, although it was clean. The complementary breakfast was good overall a good stay.

Nice Hotel

Nice clean hotel close to many restaurants. Rooms were quite small but adequate. No hair dryer in the room, from reception. Hotel is set back from the road so not much traffic noise. Good hotel for the price.
