The only reason I did not give this a 10/10 or a 5-star rating, is that the unit itself is not truly elegant or beautiful. It was clean, and with amenities on the inside on par with a 2-3 star hotel. But if "regular" is fine with you, then this place is fantastic. Most outstanding are 1) its great location, literally the closest condo to the golf clubhouse and restaurant, and 2) tons of space inside the unit (3 floors), with many beds and room to spread out. Multiple back patios with views of a beautiful golf course surrounded by trees and mountains, and players teeing off right in front of you. The clubhouse has a restaurant and bar, one of the best in all of Groveland, just a stone's throw form the condo. Driving range right there too. And the golf is cheap!
You have access to the pool just up the hill, but it's nothing to special, does not look like pictures. You also have access to the lake, but need to drive a few minutes and we found it to be rather crowded. Super short drive into the beautiful little town. Pickleball courts across the parking lot from the unit, unclear how to reserve them, but we just snuck in at night when no one was using them.
No cable TV - need to use Netflix or some other streaming service (can't remember which), and we used a profile of someone who had previously logged in. So.. a little sketchy there. AC works great. The place appears to be 50+ years old, and has literally the oldest microwave I have ever seen - all analog, dials, etc.
