We love staying here, the house is centrally located within 30 min of most of my family. Also with it being in the country the owner allows our dogs to run arround the yard and handle their business.

So i know in the property description it tells you all the amenities, hower the view of the sun going down, the reaxing sounds of the countryside, how big the space is and how nice of a place it was to stay can never truly be put into words. I grew uo in the country just 20 min south of here so I love the country life, i now live in a big city in Kentucky and miss the skyline and the sounds you can't get in the country. Im so pleased with our stay that im planning to book again in September as long as the dates are available.

Great stay with friendly host!

The host was extremely friendly with a very easy check in and check out. There was a problem with the AC, but the host did provide enough fans that allow us to have a comfortable stay. He also responded with any questions or concerns in an extremely timely manner

The host was outstanding! We had so much space and loved the basement. We also prefer the country setting. A lot of attention to details. There are games and books. A puzzle. And a really nice mug as a gift. Towels were provided as well. Our teens enjoyed the hot tub. We definitely recommend.

Two night stay - 3 women

Super helpful host. Thorough communication and info provided. We did not utilize hot tub. The dryer came in handy. I thought there would be a separate entrance into the suite downstairs that made it completely separate from the home itself, but there is not. Sharing so others are aware. Overall, everything as described and very thankful for amazing communication and amenities, though we did not utilize them!

We Had a Party!

My friends and I went here to have a birthday party and it was amazing! There were enough beds for people to pass out after drinking. The projector and hot tub were awesome! Everyone had a great time. Host was cool, easy to talk to and made sure everything ran smoothly. He even allowed us to decorate which was cool!

Overnight stay in Grass Lake

This was the perfect overnight stay for us while attending the cross country state finals at MIS . Matthew was quick too respond to my questions before we arrived and gave us suggestions for dinner in Grass Lake. He was there to welcome us when we arrived. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again in the future!

Perfect for a work trip in Jackson

It's the second time I've stayed here for work in Michigan Center and it's the ideal spot! There's a spot to work out, a work station and place to relax and make coffee, just what I need for my work trip!! Matt's a great host!

Great country setting. Responsive and friendly host. Clean, safe, really comfortable bed. A large long kitchen and living room area leads to a private bedroom suite with a large bathroom and big walk in closet. I came to the area for business and wanted a quiet, cozy get away to relax in at night. So glad I chose to stay here. Would definitely stay again.

A Hidden Jem in a Grassy Town

This was my second time staying at Matthew's and I must say he really outdid himself! He was very accommodating when dealing with an issue beyond his control (power outage). He sourced a generator in a matter of hours and even made a trip to town to purchase a special cord. Now onto the property... it's great! The rental area consists of a spacious open basement with a small private bedroom (with a closet bigger than some NYC apartments), huge bar/kitchenette, cozy living room and workspace area, an extra bed perfect for movie time snuggles and modern bathroom with lots of towels and even fuzzy robes. There is a projection screen and movies abound for a rainy day. I didn't get to use it but I'm sure Matthew picked out some good flicks for his guests. The pièce de résistance is the hot tub, a high tech super soaking experience! With enough dexterity, you could orchestrate your own Pink Floyd light show in the bubbles. I can't not mention the doggos! Have you ever seen a rottweiler/corgi mix pup? There's two of them! The dogs barked a bit, but it didn't affect our stay one bit. 10/10! We'd love to visit again!

Relaxing and Beautiful Getaway

Matthew was a wonderful host, property and home was beautiful. If we needed anything he was on top of answering any questions that we needed answered. We look forward to staying again in the future. Matthew also offered us some mulberries to pick from his property if we chose. I picked a full container of mulberries to take home and make homemade jam with.
