Enjoyable retreat
We had a fabulous time here and hope to come back. The home had everything we needed and even more than we expected. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked well and the beds were quite comfortable. It's bigger than it appears in the photos.
The proximity to downtown and two separate beaches made it really enjoyable to walk and bike. There's also a very large dog park just a couple of blocks away that was perfect for our two dogs.

Wonderful
Really liked the place but could use some work.
The drain was not attached to the sink so leaked when using sinks right side. ( kitchen sink).
Furniture in the living room is very uncomfortable.
But we enjoyed our stay very much .

Had a great time at Jackie's retreat
This was the best place we have rented so far in Grand Marais. We were allowed to bring our dogs. There were enough comfy beds for 5 adults, which 2 were our adult kids who needed their own bedroom. The house was much larger than what we imagined from the photos.
It was very homey feeling there and there was everything provided as stated. Except it showed outdoor patio furniture and there wasn't any. The weather was exceptionally warm for that time of year (May) but the house was perfectly comfortable for warm weather and heating at night.
Everyone loved the comfortable queen sized bunk beds.
It was very close to walk to town and very close to drive to the beach. Could probably have walked but we were rockhounding in the dark so we drove. The neighbors were nice, its a quiet street. Our dogs loved going for walks on the sidewalked streets.
It was everything we had hoped it would be and more.
Only complaints is that the living room furniture was a bit uncomfortable. The lack of a television only bothered my 3 year old grandson who couldn't watch his favorite cartoons. Most days we were so busy doing things he somehow survived with no tv for a week!

Relaxing and beautiful
We very much enjoyed our stay! Such a cute and homey place. The tribute to Jackie is very moving and makes the place even more special. The walk to downtown was great and the people in Grand Marais are amazing! Easy access to snowmobile trails. Our dogs loved watching the deer that are by the house every hour of the day and night. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Always a great time in GM
Great place to stay right in town. We had plenty of room to spare with only having 5 people. Best part was the location as it’s right in town. Just blocks from the bay, downtown and Lake Superior. Bedrooms are very simple but large bunk beds. Beds are definitely on the firm side. Living room furniture is lacking though. What is there is not comfortable so not a great space to hang in a rainy day. Plenty of kitchen space and supplies.

Great UP Visit
Easy travel to the East to take in Crisp Point Light House, Vermillion, Whitefish Point, and Tahquamenon Falls. Just as easy to travel west to hit Au Sable Light Station, Mosquito Falls, Chapel Falls, and Miners Castle. Location was prefect for walking to restaurants, bars, and shopping in Grand Marais.
