Lack of communication

The hotel had a fire a couple of weeks ago and we were not informed of this until we arrived at the location. Very disappointing.

Pleasantly surprised

I arrived early evening and check in was fine, the area around the hotel was not the best manicured area but inside was pleasant and suprising, quite a nice room with all amenities. With the value I paid.

Worst thing was we got a terrible night’s sleep. The heating unit made noise all night long. Especially the high pitched squeal, which could be something needed lubrication like a blower or fan. Also when we first arrived my wife found a gob of hair in the sink, cleanliness could be questioned. Mattress’ were very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful when we requested extra pillows.

Closer to the train station and Main Street for the restaurants and shopping. My entry door is in side of the building instead of outdoor which provides extra security

Great for a bargain

I chose this hotel because I was looking for the decent end of price bargain, and it met or exceeded my expectations. Overall pro: Not dirty or grungy - seemed to be maintained and cleaned by competent people who care Overall con: Breakfast area was tiny, and only two small tables for seating to eat. Food selection was meager.
