It's a nice townhouse on the lake, can't really complain much about that. A few things to note. The downstairs bedroom is really cold (winter season of course) so you must be willing to keep a fire going if you want to stay down there. Also, the two queen beds felt more like full size beds to my wife and I. Smith Mountain Lake is a beautiful area, but be warned to get in out of of the area to other locations you will need to travel 15 minutes on very winding roads. And finally, there was a lack of 'welcoming' that we usually receive when we book these places. No fruit basket, or welcoming note, or other things like that. And it was missing some common items like salt and coffee filters (amongst other little things). Finally, we tried to reach out to someone on Saturday and didn't hear back from them until Tuesday, after we had already checked out and were on our way back home. We enjoyed our stay and those are mostly little concerns but things I wanted other potential bookers to know.
