Location is beautiful, near the most amazing beaches and not far from fun floating spots on the Rogue river. The home is lovely, although could use a deep cleaning, as well as some much needed maintenance. Kitchen has good cooking facilities, could definitely use some new knives!!! Lots of stairs. The upper deck is spectacular for sunning and the view is amazing. The windows in the living area are wonderful as far as views are concerned, although it gets very bright and glaring when the sun is low. The beds are comfy and there are lots of pillows. For a pet friendly place, you’d hardly know an animal had been present. Again a good deep cleaning would make me say it’s a “ten”.

This is a beautiful property. Very close to the beach and very quiet. I would love to leave a 5 star review. However, this property was NOT clean. There was food caked on the can opener, and on the cutting board. There was a cork still in the wine opener. There was old coffee in the coffee housing of the coffee pot. The tubs both had hair in them. The vaccuum smells like there is a dead critter inside, with no bags left to swap out. The upstairs shower liner was moldy. All of the towels smelled of mildew. And the most disgusting finding was dried urine around the base of the toilet upstairs. I have 2 kids. I understand small things get missed. But this house was not cleaned before we stayed. I am only hoping the bedding was clean. I took pictures of the urine and the moldy shower curtain. These are things that build up over time and show a cleaning issue that continues to be missed and maybe an opportunity to address? While it was nice to have a quite place to stay, i would not return to this property.

Great location on the southern Oregon coast

Great location for a getaway with friends. Easy walk to the beach. Nice large master bedroom. Kitchen is in dire need of more and better dinnerware and cookware. Seating for the deck is lacking. 3 plastic chairs are disappointing for such a nice deck area.

For the money this was too expensive. Too many stairs that were scary! Garage stunk! Lots of cobwebs!!! Yard is a joke! Dining table was a big joke! It's 2024, get some better furniture! Couch & chairs were so uncomfortable! The beach was the best part.

Great house

This was a great house, we had a nice stay. It was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. However the listing states this house sleeps 7 and pictures showed a twin over full bunk that was not there. There were 3 beds total, queens or full. Listing also said there was a fold out option that was also not available. There was a disabled futon in the garage and it was a little moldy, normal for the dampness at the coast but still not useable. Thankfully we had an air mattress and sleeping bag and were able to get by with that. The views were excellent and beach access was a short walk. We enjoyed the 4th celebration in Gold beach, visited the redwoods and did a couple hikes along the rogue. All in all it was a great trip. I would definitely stay here again with a smaller group of people. The upstairs bedroom is open to the living room below, it was fine for us but noteable.

Perfect Place to Relax

This place was perfect for relaxing and decompressing. You see the ocean from almost any room. Open the windows or sliding glass door to hear the waves and smell the sea air. It was just what we needed.

Great home!

If you are ok with stairs, this is a great home. Beautiful view and easy access to a wonderful beach. The house is one of the nicest coastal homes I've stayed in. Our only complaints are 1) kitchen is stocked ok but not great. There seems to be a lack of spoons. 2) the bedroom with the double bunk has the worst mattress I've ever experienced. Springs are actually poking you. We were only able to use it by putting a comforter and blanket over the top of the mattress and then placing the bottom sheet over everything. The other beds were fine. Great restaurants in Gold Beach and lots of hiking areas to explore.
