Requested a room near lobby, room assigned was the furthest point from the lobby in the entire hotel and was on the 2nd floor also opposite from elevator. Not good for someone traveling with mobility issues. Lots of exterior doors to enter hotel, none of them have locks or any type of security. Halls are dark and smell stale like smoke.

Beautiful hotel and amazing location. We had an issue with the heater randomly kicking in during the middle of a hot summer night, driving the room temperature up to 85 degrees. We were given a 10% discount for the inconvenience. The hotel was sold out, so moving us was not an option. I'm sure we'll go back, but we'll pay for a better room next time.

Absolutely perfect in everyway. We biked, kyaked, fabulous lunches, met friends, played tennis, wine tastings daily and just a 20 minute drive to Auburn - Incredible Broadway Show - Barnum Can't say enough about the beauty of these Inns the views

Room was big and convenient. Bathroom was clean. Very small shower and very limited shampoo and conditioner, especially for a room that accommodates three, but not enough for two. Pipes clanked all night and traffic was very noisy in the morning. Check-in was slipshod: didn't check ID and didn't give us the access code for the outside door until we asked about it. Breakfast was nicely served. Pancakes were cold.

This was a lovely and charming property and I highly recommend it if you are in the area for business or leisure. The staff was extremely cordial and accommodating. Despite the early to mid century decor and furnishings, other accommodations such as the flat screen television, shower and tub fixtures, and strong wi-fi signal were surprisingly modern.
