We had such a wonderful time staying here! The house was beautiful and exactly what we needed. It was super close to Gatlinburg and in the mountains without having to drive 20 mins uphill. Cute local shops are nearby. If you have dogs, there aren’t many open flat places for them to use the bathroom. But there is a dog park 0.3 miles away that was wonderful! Also, this area was visited by black bears every single day that we were there. One showed up under our porch and walked around the front of the hous. One even got into my niece’s car because she had an uncrustable in there! Luckily it didn’t do any damage to our vehicle besides get it dirty. But the day we were leaving a man across the street also had his car broken into, but was not as lucky as we were. So my advice is keep your car doors locked, keep all food and drinks out of your vehicles. When you’re in the house, also keep those doors locked even when you’re there. Even though there were many houses around, the back porch still felt very private because there’s lots of trees in front and it’s difficult to see the other houses unless you’re looking around for them. Checking in and out were very easy and simple. I love the numeric keypad for locking the door. Our hosts were very responsive and texting back-and-forth with them was super convenient. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
