The cabin had a good layout and ample space but it needs a lot of maintenance/repairs. The carpets are very worn out and stained, lots of lightbulbs out, 100s of marks all over several walls, one downstairs bathroom has water damage from kitchen sink that leaks above and looks like it’s been happening for a long time because bottom of kitchen cabinet is warped/rotted and the tiles in bathroom are cracked and coming up. This was probably the least enjoyable rental stay I’ve had. The door code I was given did not work. Camila was very helpful with getting me a new one but it took several different tries before getting one that worked. There was a fairly fresh pee stain on the carpet right where you come in, they did respond promptly to send someone to come clean it up though. There were some basic things like a potato peeler and can opener missing from the kitchen. The worst thing though was the stink bugs, I expected some as it is common for the area but the house had an infestation. My wife and I were staying in one of the top bedrooms and woke up the first morning with them everywhere. We tried vacuuming them up but as soon as we did there were just as many more. I was constantly vacuuming up live ones while we were there and they were everywhere except for the very bottom floor. My autistic son lost it constantly because he has an irrational fear of bugs and kept begging to go home. I would not recommend this property especially for what we paid.
