This cabin is beautiful and the views are AMAZING. The host is very friendly, and easy to get ahold of if you need anything or have problems. The beds are comfortable, the cabin has everything you need to cook your meals. We will definitely book her again the next time we visit the Smokies.

Fantastic stay in the Smokies!!

We had a wonderful time in this property over our spring break!! It was a perfect place to stay as we explored the area for the first time. Perfect Anniversary Trip

This was exactly what I imagined when I began searching for a rental for our 30th anniversary celebration. Although the drive up to the cabin was initially a nail biter, we got used to it pretty quickly. The cabin was spotless when we arrived and generally excellently maintained. The best part was the fall mountain view. I will definitely rent here again if we return.

Spectacular

Loved it... Driving up from Shenandoah, we were surprised upon entering the grounds by two bears hunkering on the side of the road! The place was beautifully appointed - and had spectacular views of the mountains. Conveniently located close to grocery shops (Food City, for those curious) and Gatlinburg (moonshine shops), as well as the main attraction, the Smokey Mountain National Park itself. Loved it.

Beautiful Views in a Quiet Neighborhood

We had a lovely stay at Mockingbird Perch! The cabin is tucked away from the crowded tourist areas but close enough to still be a short ride to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The views are stunning and we enjoyed quiet mornings with coffee and evenings with bourbon looking out over the Smokey Mountains. The host was very responsive to any questions and everything was as-stated in the listing. The cookware and tableware were all in great shape as well. We would definitely stay there again.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I must say this house was exactly as described and the location for us was phenomenal! It’s a short drive from a few great restaurants and an ice cream shop that was amazing. The trip back into town took no time at all with little to no traffic. The house itself was beautiful and the view was perfect. It sits up on a nice secluded hill that makes you feel like you have your own private piece of the mountain. The house was clean, the beds were nice, and the furniture was perfect for lounging around after a long day of adventure. It will be hard for me to book a different cabin anytime I visit the gatlinburgh area that’s for sure.

The property was very quiet and the balcony view was beautiful. We did lose power due to a storm and they had flashlights. The host was easy and nice to work with. We had a few minor issues from the people that stayed there last but overall it was excellent.

New year's weekend

Wonderful stay! Cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a wonderful time. We only wish there were a few more towels as there was barely enough for the 6 of us to shower and enjoy the hot tub.

Excellent Mountain Getaway

Cabin was clean and well maintained. Pretty much anything you would need was provided. You can tell the owners take care of the property. Communication was excellent, the host was very responsive and provided all of the necessary information before and during our stay. Great views off of the deck, either in the hot tub or by the solo stove. We enjoyed our time at the cabin and we'd gladly stay here again.

Comfortable Cabin in the Woods

Home is very clean and comfortable. Perfect space for the three of us but would have been great for an even bigger group. We cooked in the kitchen every day and found everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were nice-sized. Wish we would have been able to stay longer and enjoy the outdoor spaces. Host communicated well so there were no issues that came up. Grateful for a wonderful stay in the Gatlinburg area.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We are from Louisiana- and this was our first trip to the mountains as a family. We have 2 kids - around 14 years old. We enjoyed this cabin- it was nestled perfectly in the mountains outside of Gatlinburg. It was a quiet and very comfortable cabin. The parking was flat - making it easy to load and unload the car. The porch had everything we wanted - a place to enjoy breakfast and dinner- looking at the mountains and a wonderful hot tub. The inside of the cabin was cozy and just relaxing - everyone had a location to be private or to be together. The cabin is located in a great spot - far enough from the strip of Gatlinburg but close enough to go there quickly. Plus we were not too far from the national forest- which we were able to do everything from tubing in Townsend, to rafting in Hartford, to all the wonderful the hikes - for amateurs. It was the perfect week mountain vacation for the family- one we Will remember forever.

Perfect cabin! Beautiful view!

We had an amazing experience. The cabin was beautiful. The view was amazing. We saw bears two days in row. It was better than we could have imagined. The host was friendly and super helpful the whole time. We will definitely be returning!

Wonderful home away from home.

Loved staying at Mockingbird Perch. Very new and clean. Perfect size for four of us. Would be a little cramped with six people but very doable. It was a little far from Gatlinburg if you want to make lots of trips there but very nice for the seclusion.
