The location of the property is very convenient although the drive to the house is extremely steep and probably would be made more difficult in the dark or with snow. The setup of the house was great. Most of our time was spent in the kitchen/dining area as a group. We did enjoy the decks, especially the fireplace. It was our central gathering spot in the evenings. The beds were definitely the biggest disappointment - for everyone. There's no way I could have spent another night there. There are cheap waterproof mattress covers on the beds which made sleeping awful. They felt like you were laying on a rubber sheet, making you hot and uncomfortable all night. I'm not sure why they used those type of covers. We have waterproof ones on our beds at home, but they're not plastic-y feeling at all. I wouldn't stay there again unless that was changed. The walls were pretty thin in the rooms so it felt like our friends were in our bathroom with us, which was weird. Fortunately the couple who stayed in the bedroom off the kitchen are early-risers, otherwise, they would have been woken up by the first person in the kitchen each morning. The hot tub was a nice amenity, although we didn't really get in. The pool table was nice for the guys to enjoy while the ladies put their feet in the hot tub nearby. Overall, the place is nice, but I wouldn't stay more than a couple days with the sleeping situation.
