Special Stay at Gatesville Holiday Inn and Suites

We appreciated having LATE ARRIVAL privilege, since we couldn't arrive before the traditional check-in time. The desk staff was very hospitable and helpful. We were very touched by the fact that our room was posted as having been paid for us, and we think this was due to the fact that we had come for the funeral of my husband which would be the next day. We thank you for the graciousness of that outreach.

Room had a stale smell to it. There were stains on some furnishings. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The last night when the air conditioner turned on it had an odor similar to propane. Very concerning.
