Electric Peak Cabin in Yellowstone Park

NORTH PARK ENTRANCE AT GARDINER. This Yellowstone Cabin Rental Is On Private Acreage Five Miles From The Park's North Gate with the Best Wildlife Watching And Cutthroat Trout Fishing!

Charming cabin built in 2009 with two bedrooms that sleeps 5 located just five minutes from Yellowstone Park's North Entrance on several acres of private property. Perfect for travelers who want easy access to the famous Northern Range and Lamar Valley with its bison, elk, deer, wolves, bears, AND fishing for world-famous Yellowstone cutthroat trout!

This beautiful cabin is unlike all other vacation rental properties in the area. Lying in an extremely private location just above Highway 89 north of Gardiner, Montana, and the Roosevelt Arch, the cabin is easily accessed by a well-maintained, short, 300 yard-long Private Drive.

This setting provides you with total solitude and isolation from any hustle and bustle of the busy roadways leading to/from the park. However, at the same time, when needed, you are just minutes away from restaurants, the market, and shops in Gardiner or a bit further away in Livingston and Bozeman.

Built on a log frame, this cabin has all modern amenities yet has a great amount of rustic appeal including beautiful hardwood floors. It has enormous windows giving you unmatched views of Yellowstone's Electric Peak, Devil's Slide, Dome Mountain, and many other spectacular geological features. Wildlife abound here and deer, elk, pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep, or bison are seen on the meadows and mountain slopes near the cabin. Often during the spring and fall, they are standing right in the cabin's yard. No-where else in the northern Rockies will you find wildlife this abundant and close in a natural setting.

Horses graze nearby, and the Yellowstone River, home to world-class trout fishing, leaves the park and passes just a few hundred yards below you.

There are many access sites to the Yellowstone River very near to the cabin, one within easy walking distance (that is a very great fishing spot...just ask our boys!).

Being near Gardiner, our cabin is at the home of the Yellowstone Forever, a long-standing educational institute offering numerous courses in the park. The Electric Peak Cabin is a perfect place to stay when visiting and attending these courses.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a sofa bed, a private yard, and a coffee maker.

We couldn't have possibly asked for a better cabin to stay in while enjoying our time in Yellowstone National Park. Everything about this cozy cabin was amazing. Immediately we fell in love with the charming porch which had a spectacular view of the mountains. The living area was warm and inviting with beautiful views continuing with phenomenal picture windows. The bedrooms are decent sized and the bathroom had everything we needed. Our host Todd greeted us shortly after arrival to welcome us and let us know he could be reached anytime. We had a special treat.... Meeting the horses in the stables adjacent to the fence. I personally enjoyed the beauty of my time with them as well. Todd went above and beyond as we had car troubles on check out. He made arrangements for his son to come over within minutes to get us up and running but not before he searched and found where we could find a new battery for our vehicle on a Sunday morning! We couldn't say more about what a blessing our stay was not to mention Todd himself! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this wonderful treasure Todd!

We loved the cabin. The front porch was a great place to watch the sun set over the mountains, look for wildlife, or have our morning coffee. Todd stopped by while we were arriving and gave us lots of helpful advice. The location was perfect, only 5 minutes from Garndiner and the north gate of Yellowstone. We also enjoyed a trip to the hot springs just 3 miles down the road.

Checking in was very easy, we arrived a little early and were able to access early! Exactly what we wanted for vacation… little cabin in the mountains and to be able to have coffee in the morning enjoying the view of the mountains. Master bed could be updated but overall it made the start of vacation awesome!! Great location to access Yellowstone. Todd was a good host & came and talked with us when checking on horses. Would definitely stay there again & have recommended to others already!

Check in was very smooth, all instructions were clear and property was easy to find thanks to well-placed signage. Kitchen items worked well. Perfect 10 other than the curtains in the guest room were too transparent to sleep (we went to bed early to get to early morning hikes/tours), and the shower nozzle was very wide spraying/difficult to use. Very minor things, otherwise great stay! Would come again.

Perfect location and wonderful host. While small this two bedroom cabin was located just a few miles from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park and only about 1.5 hours away from the Bozeman airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the constant elk in the yard!

Beautiful Gateway to Yellowstone

Our stay at the cabin was amazing. The cabin is only minutes from Yellowstone, while still giving that secluded, country stay. We enjoyed watching the sunsets and gazing at the stars. Each night at dusk my family and I watched a massive herd of elk come down from the mountains and graze in the hay fields across the river. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and then some. Gardiner is only minutes away if you need anything else during the stay. Todd always responded promptly with any questions we had. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Yellowstone.

Amazing stay for Yellowstone

I can't say enough great things about this cabin, truly. It was our very first trip to Montana and Yellowstone, so I was going in blind. After booking this place, then furthering my Yellowstone research, I was worried I would regret not splitting our stay among the different areas/entrances of the park. At the completion of our trip, I HAD ZERO REGRETS!! The cabin was immaculately clean and had everything we needed (even bear spray and binoculars!). The location was perfect just outside of the cute town of Gardiner; so there wasn't a far drive to the market or food, but enough out of town to get the true Montana feel and some privacy. We love some time and space to ourselves when traveling and this location was great for that. Todd was very easy to communicate with. Other reviews mention not having the best shower experience with the space/size of the shower and we can second that, but not badly enough to deter us from coming back if we are ever able!! It made for some laughter at night listening to our family members struggle in there, haha. Lastly y'all THE VIEWS....THE VIEWS!!! The views from this cabin are breathtaking. There are horses next to the cabin, which add to the vibe. We never once turned on the TV or spent much time inside when we were there because WOW. This was the best vacation we've ever had and this cabin was certainly part of that. recs: Flying Pig White water rafting (overnight trip yes!), Hells a Roarin' Horseback Riding, Yellowstone Hot springs.
