We really loved and enjoyed our stay. We booked the room with balcony and ocean view which was Beautiful. Breakfast menu is amazing. So many choices. Only slight inconvenience was that the property people charged parking fee which was Not mentioned before and the traffic noise kills the quite serenity.

1. According to Expedia, I was charged for a ocean view room but when I checked in, it was a partial view only. No credit was offered by the staff. 2. If you want your rooms cleaned, & items replenished, you need to ask guest services in advance. 3. Very ordinary breakfasts. Eggs didn't seem cooked fully done. 4. Due to a motorbike rally being held in Galveston, noise levels were extremely high. Hotel couldn't control that aspect of it because it was everywhere. Sadly, I expected much more for the rate we paid. This is a very different type of hotel management unlike what I am accustomed to. Disappointed on Hilton.

Beachfront view amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. Mother at UTMB Hospital. We were not aware the Lone Star Motorcycle Rally was going on. Motorcycles up and down the Seawall all hours! Hardly any sleep.

This hotel is a nice hotel in a great location. Which is the only thing it has going for it. The hotel has 5 floors and 2 sections with literally hundreds of rooms. But it only has 2 elevators for the entire hotel!!!! They are slow, only one was working. The breakfast options are limited, but it was stocked. Coffee may be available 24/7 but after breakfast it nevers gets made fresh and it was cold. The BED and PILLOWS SUCK! We asked for a king but got a queen which they insisted was a king. The mattress is about 5 years past it's prime and the pillows are dollar pillows for the family dollar store. The staff is very unfriendly and will not offer any help unless you ask. And good grief if you go on a weekend they have the sales reps there! They will follow you all the way around the hotel bothering you to buy! All in all the only thing this hotel has going for it is the location.

No coffee or hot tea water available for the 14 hours we were there. 24 hour hot coffee and tea were advertised, including signs in the elevators. No help from front desk staff who said there was nothing they could do. The walls were thin and we could hear yelling and stomping from other guests long into the night hours. Extra cost for parking which I did not see when booking.
