EASY walk to restaurants, bars & free bus to Breck & Copper. Hot tub/pool table!
Enjoy the IDEAL LOCATION and absolute comfort of this beautiful 5,000 square foot, 7 bedroom home smack in the middle of downtown Frisco. When compared to Breckenridge, our home is closer to the airport, closer to MOST of the big ski resorts, easier to find a restaurant, much better in the summertime with Lake Dillon, multiple parks, excellent/free tennis courts and far less traffic. Our property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac providing peace & quiet well away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street or Hwy 9. But we are only a short 1 block walk (takes about 90 seconds) to the true core of Frisco.....walk another half block and you are on the free shuttle to both Breckenridge & Copper Mountain....very easy to put your ski boots on at the property and take the ski bus to either resort.

***** YEAR ROUND ADVANTAGES OF OUR BEAUTIFUL HOME IN FRISCO, COLORADO *****
----ONE BLOCK WALK-TO-TOWN....easy and safe 1 block walk to town with over 50 restaurants, bars & retail shops. Two block walk to free shuttle bus to Breckenridge and Copper Mountain! Leave your car at home! Walk safely home after a night out in the beautiful town of Frisco, Colorado! My family has lived in the Breckenridge area for the past 35 years, the past 10 of which have been spent in this downtown Frisco location.....and we can honestly say we appreciate the Town of Frisco far more than we like Breckenridge simply because the traffic is far less, it is much easier to get into restaurants on weekends, walking access to the marina is awesome in the summer, and we NEVER ski at Breckenridge on the weekends anymore so the proximity to Beaver Creek (our favorite weekend ski spot) is a game-changer if you truly love to ski!
----END OF CUL-DE-SAC LOCATION....the best location in the county w/ absolutely no drive by traffic & no noise AND ONLY A ONE BLOCK WALK TO TOWN/RESTAURANTS/SHOPS/SKIER-SHUTTLE. Sleep in late, no noise above, below or next door to you. Surrounded by other single family homes, you will immediately appreciate your quiet surroundings and proximity to all that Main Street Frisco has to offer. Truly ideal location for all sorts of reasons!
----SIX WORLD CLASS SKI AREAS within a 35 minute drive. If you are a true skier, and enjoy skiing different resorts, this is the ultimate location!! -----------approximate 8 minute drive to Copper Mountain. ----------approximate 12 minute drive to Breckenridge -----------approximate 15 minute drive to Keystone. -----------approximate 20 minute drive to Arapahoe Basin (aka A-Basin) -----------approximate 25 minute drive Vail -----------approximate 35 minute drive to Beaver Creek.
----GREAT PARKING SITUATION.....this property has ample on-site parking for 7 (or more) vehicles. Large, flat and paved. Camper parking possible (no one can stay in the camper overnight), but only with express owner permission upon initial booking. No garage space provided.
----FREE BRECKENRIDGE AND COPPER MTN SHUTTLE BUS TWO BLOCKS AWAY....direct every 30 minutes to both Copper & Breckenridge during peak hours.....runs once an hour in off-peak times. Put ski boots on at home & forget the parking! Or enjoy a free bus ride into Breck for dinner or shopping....forget the hassles of parking! It's all FREE and all super convenient.....let some of your group stay in town or on the mountain and have them catch a bus home whenever they are ready. Awesome.
----ELEVATION....Frisco is at 9,000 feet, warmer than Breck & less likelihood of elevation sickness. Many Breck rental properties are above 10,000!
----WEBER BBQ GRILL on your private, large deck .....natural gas fired stainless steel Weber grill sits on the large deck right outside. Big 4 burner grill with plenty of room to cook for the entire group.
----PROPANE GAS FIREPIT on your private deck. Easy to light, with a massive flame, available to your group year round. Limited propane tanks provided.
----LAKE DILLON AND FRISCO MARINA....only 4 blocks away!!!! You can rent sail boats, power boats or enjoy lunch at the Frisco waterfront cafe during our warm weather season! One of the coolest activities in the summer is to rent a pontoon boat in Frisco and head over to the Tiki Bar located at the Dillon Marina for a quick lunch and a "boat drink" and take a cruise around the incredibly scenic Lake Dillon.
----BIKE PATH AND RENTAL SHOPS....all less than three blocks away, just walk to town, rent a bike and you are on your way!! Incredible access for the Vail Pass bike ride, the Lake Dillon loop ride, or go mountain biking up the Ten Mile Trail or out to the Frisco peninsula mountain bike trail system. Literally jump on your bike from the apartment and off you go.....awesome!!!! Or rent a bike from one of the local shops, jump in their van for a ride to the top of Vail Pass, and cruise all the way back into Frisco.....with a quick stop at Copper Mountain for lunch! Great way to spend a day in the mountains!!
----PUBLIC PARK & TENNIS COURTS....all less than one block away, playground for the kids, volleyball court & two very nice tennis courts!! I may be able to provide some tennis rackets if you forget yours....simply ask upon arrival.
----SEVEN HIGH DEFINITION FLAT PANEL TV's.... some are in the bedrooms, one in the living area, one in the game room, one in the kitchen. All are high def TV's. We offer most of the big channels for sports and news.....CNN, ESPN, ABC, NBC, FOX, etc.
----GREAT GOLF COURSES.....5 terrific public courses in Summit County and another TEN within a 30-45 minute drive. Golf lovers paradise!
----WAL-MART AND SAFEWAY GROCERY STORES ARE ONLY FIVE MINUTES AWAY! Obviously you are going to need your car when you head off to do some shopping.....and the least expensive place to go is always Wal-Mart, about a five minute drive away, and right next door to Wally World is a full service Safeway grocery store.

Excellent Property Close to Main Street
Wonderful property. Quiet and close to everything you could want. Main Street area is a short 2-block walk. Unit was clean and very comfortable. Mike was a great host and communicator. Frisco itself was a great surprise for us as well. Lots of dining choices easy to get to. Took several area hikes. Easy to find lots of great trails of varying difficulty. We’d never been to Frisco before, but we’ll be back.

Clean unit and comfortable bed.
Good for two people for a few days. Couple things. Ice machine doesn’t work and no ice trays. Could use a few more dishes. One of the two coffee cups has a crack in it. Enjoyed Frisco and close walk to Main Street. Downstairs neighbors kept us up most of one night. Slamming doors and coming and going.

Great mountain get away!
The accommodations in this wonderful one bedroom apt/condo were exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. The location is just two blocks off Main St where all the shopping and restaurants are located. As the description states no dishwasher or ac, but we did fine without them. King size bed was very comfortable. Mike, the owner, was super friendly and knowledgable about everything to do in the Summit area. We plan on going back during ski season. Thanks Mike!

Beautiful home! Great location made it easy for our two non-skiers to have a great experience too. Size and floor plan made it convenient for everyone (10 of us) to find either personal space or fellowship whenever we wanted. Hot tub was perfect at the end of a long day skiing!

luxurious vacation home
A group of 14 women gathered at the Frisco home for a Retreat. This was our first experience there and we were delighted with the sense of comfort and space with many windows making the outdoors feel accessible. We loved the big dining table where we could all fit, and the living room was very comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was a highlight. For the first time in years we had enough bathrooms for the group! Many of us enjoyed hiking in the nearby areas and shopping on Main street. It's easy to see why lots of skiers would love the place but its also a great place for a group of friends to take a weekend away.

Third year and as good a always
This is our third year in a row to stay at this property and we are as happy as before. Property is perfect for our group. I'm sure other reviews speak to how nice the place is. Mike is also extremely competitive on his rates during off season stays. It's an amazing bargain during certain times of the year. We really appreciate the location in Frisco a lot more now that our kids are bigger. Having the tennis courts so close is a very nice amenity.

Simply..the best!
Wow! What a great place to bring our family of 15! Wonderful location and it has a great layout for families with a variety of ages. Our family enjoyed our fair share of pool tournaments as well as other games. We loved relaxing on the deck watching some of the family play yard games. We were able to stroll into town for coffee or ice cream with the grand kids. Because we were so close, we could spend an afternoon hiking, horseback riding, rafting, skiing. We even squeezed in a couple of games of volleyball and tennis at the near by parks.
The kitchen is well stocked and it was a dream to be able to prepare meals for our large group. The dining area was not only beautiful, it was spacious enough for all of us to dine together! Also the large living area was a wonderful place to chill with family at night.
We had such great sleeping accommodations, we were able to recharge for the next days adventures!
Mike is a fantastic host and has done an awesome job maintaining this beautiful home! We all would recommend this home for any large group. Thanks again Mike, we would love to stay again!

Women's group
We are a group of seven women from Denver who have been sharing two weekends a year with each other in beautiful Summit County for over 20 years. We have searched for the perfect home for our group to continue using until we are all too old to move, and we have found it in this lovely and spacious home. Everything about this huge house was "as advertised", and it completely met our needs. It is extremely well-equipped and comfortable, and all for a very reasonable price. The owner was very responsive when we needed something, and he dealt with us fairly in all ways. We are planning to book this home for our next weekend in the fall, and we plan to keep coming as long as it is available.

Wonderful family home
Our family of 13 (7 brothers and sisters and 6 spouses) had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful spacious home. We were looking for a property with a separate bedroom for each couple and one single and this was perfect. The kitchen was amazing and super stocked. The dining area accommodated all of us comfortably and the gathering areas gave us lots of room to spread out. The furnishings and decorations were more than we expected. Close to town, but tons to do in the surrounding area for a variety of skill levels.
Would definitely recommend this clean and well maintained property.

Family from Des Moines, Iowa
Our family of 16 including grandparents, parents, and children from infant to 17 year olds had a wonderuful and fun filled time at Copper Mountain and the New Frisco Rental owned by Mike Krueger. The home was absolutely beautiful, spacious, perfectly maintained. The 7 bedrooms (we used the apartment) were perfect. A huge refrigerator, two dish washers, large kitchen were wonderful for cooking and serving and quick clean up. We sat 16 of us around the large and beautiful table in the kitchen or dining room area. Places of quiet to read, relax, visit, or to play were perfect. The 6.5 baths (including the apartment), the hot tub, the garage for extra storage needs for our family. Finally the two washers and dryers were an additional touch we would never have thought of.
The NewFrisco Rental far exceeded our expectations and we would recommend this home to all large families who are looking to go skiing or to family reunions.
Thanks, Mike, for a helping us have a wonderful, memory filled time in Frisco and Colorado.

Fantastic family get away
Our entire family (17 people) utilized this property for our trip to Summit County this year. With 12 adults and 5 kids it could not have been a better floor plan and bedroom situation. Perfect for us. All couples had the privacy of there own bedrooms and the bunk room served the children well. Additionally, one toddler traveled with us and the upstairs apartment was perfect for the pack n' play and early bedtimes as it was very quiet and the remainder of the guests could proceed with activities throughout the home without any concern of disturbing the sleeping toddler upstairs.
I dont know where to begin frankly. This is a home I would not hesitate living in myself. The renovation of the home was fabulous. We all commented on our respective rooms and bath rooms and how well they were appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathrooms were finished with nice fixtures, and the home was clearly well built. The kitchen was one I would have liked to transport to my own home. It was a joy to cook on the professional stove and ovens and have people coming and going preparing meals without ever feeling cramped. The recreation room was enjoyed by all!! We had a pool tourney in the evenings and the card/game table was utilized every night. If you wanted to read or watch TV away from all the action the second living room served as a great getaway and was quiet most evenings for visiting. We never felt like we were on top of each other with 17 folks. Plenty of space and the floor plan lends itself to entertaining these large parties.
We shared the meal duties each evening with respective families preparing for the whole group. The dining area was outstanding. Everyone had a seat and, again, plenty of space for this size group. FANTASTIC home! Great job Mike!
Finally a word on the owner and his attention to details. While we were there we had minor issues with a thermostat (normal stuff) and within hours, the owner had the HVAC guy out and it was solved. He was prompt in responding to any questions. There were no concerns with cleanliness, or quality here. We already recommended the home to others and I believe one has already booked! Don't miss this opportunity to stay so close to main street and still have easy access to all summit county offers.
We had a beautiful red fox pass through twice while we were staying by the way and the huge picture windows in the front of the home made for great viewing. Two huge thumbs up!!

Family Ski Vacation
We spent Easter at this very nicely appointed (esp. baths & kitchen) and furnished home with 3 of our kids and 7 grandchildren. Even without the separate unit, there was more than adequate room for all of us. The layout is extremely well designed for extended family groups such as ours--plenty of quality space for kids as well as adults. The kitchen/dining arrangement is as well conceived and equiped as one could ask for. Great outdoor space, too--big deck, hot tub, grill, private yard. Looked at all of the comments and can confirm their accuracy. Frisco is a great little (and real) town, right in the middle of everything, both summer and winter, and the house is ideally located, close to all the action. We would stay at the house again in a heartbeat.
We had a fantastic experience with this rental. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The house is in outstanding condition. We hosted a family reunion for 18 people right before Christmas. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. We cooked breakfast and dinner together. The gourmet kitchen was wonderful and well appointed. Everybody hung out together in the game room playing cards and pool at night after skiing. It was nice to have so much room. We only like to stay at luxurious properties and this house fit the bill. I definitely recommend this property!
We met at your Frisco home for our 2011 Thanksgiving holiday. Our party consisted of 14 adults and 4 children and we found that the house had ample space for all of us to be together or hide-away if need be (Not that anyone would need that during a family vacation). Even though there were many fantastic restaurants within walking distance, we decided to make our own Thanksgiving meal. At any time during the day, there were 3-4 cooks in the kitchen and we were never cramped. The kitchen in the upstairs apartment came in handy too. Near the house, we found many ways to enjoy the early snow. We went for a scenic sleigh ride in the Nature Center, skied in Loveland, and twirled and bounced down a tubing hill. We appreciated the ski racks and sled storage, but most especially the heaters that dried our boots and made them toasty warm before we headed back out doors. All in all, we now have a week of fun family memories to cherish for the rest of our lives. We would highly recommend this beautiful home and plan to return SOON.

Wonderful Home - Much Better Than Listing Hints At
We just returned home from an incredible time at Mike's home in Frisco. The home is exactly what it is billed as and more! Radient floor heating on the first level was amazing! We all used the steam shower and the house seems to have an endless supply of hot water. We had 16 adults and one child and all fit in the house well without being on top of each other. The gourmet kitchen was a highlight for me and a joy to cook in and the helpers liked that there were two dishwashers for fast clean-up.
We ran into an issue with the hot tub not being hot when we arrived and Mike took care of the issue immediately and the hot tub company was there first thing in the morning. After the "fix" (the breaker was tripped) Mike stopped by to ensure it was all in working order. I was very impressed wih his attentiveness as a landlord and would (and have) recommend this home to anyone who appreciates a well appointed home in a great location in town. Frisco has that "old ski town" feel that Vail and some of the other mtn resorts are lacking. Real people and good food and fun!
Thanks to Mike for an amazing weekend and we will be staying there again!

Spacious, well appointed property - great for large families/reunions
My family lives in Colorado and has rented many properties in the Summit County area, and this is one of the best ones we have rented. We had a total of nine guest and had more than enough space for everyone with the six bedroom configuration (w/out the addition). This was our first time to stay overnight in Frisco and we were very happy with the location. Mike, the owner, was very kind to point out the nearest park for our kids and that tennis courts are basically next door to the house. He was also very flexible with our schedule for check-in/check-out (schedule permitting).
My wife probably put it best by saying that she felt very comfortable at this location because she just felt like we were staying at someone's house, and one that you could tell was well cared for, as opposed to a hotel or other less kept up rental. I do want to point out that there are many nice things in the house, so if you are the type to not treat things well, then this probably isn't the place for you. We did have to monitor our kids (ages 3-7) to make sure they didn't mess anything up.
The biggest vote of confidence comes from the out of towners that joined us on this trip, saying that they'd love to come back to this place next year.

Family reunion
We had a family reunion consisting of 12 adults and 8 children ranging from 2 months to 13 years. It was like this house was designed for us. The family with a 2 year old and 2 month old were perfect for the apartment. The family with 4 children and were perfect for the bedroom and bunk bedroom downstairs. The other family of 4 fit nicely in the master suite.
When we first went into the kitchen we couldn't figure out why there were 2 dishwashers and 4 waste baskets in two drawers. We soon found out. The kitchen was fantastic. The oven was a little tempermental but we finally got it to work.
We walked to town and to the park nearby several times. The location is very central to all of Summit County.
We would gladly go there again.

This is a great property. The outside looks its age, but the inside has been remodeled to high-end contemporary standards. The kitchen is fantastic for cooking for large groups with all of the utensils a chef might need. We had up to 10 adults at the property and with the layout never felt crowded. The internet was adequate for the needs of 6 professionals. All in all a great property and we would go back.
This house is absolutely amazing!!! I had friends and family fly out as a group of 9 and we could not have been luckier. First of all the location is perfect. It's only a few blocks to groceries and rentals and everything was so convenient. It's walking distance to restaurants and pubs. It's a brief 15 min drive to Breckenridge and Keystone. It's ~30 min to Vail.
Second, everything about the house itself was amazing - Mike was awesome about making sure we had enough towels and took personally us through a very informative walk through. Hot tub was awesome. The kitchen is amazing and easily accommodates multiple families. The bedrooms are very nice and comfortable. Bathrooms are amazing. There's a nice mudroom with air dry heaters and drainage. The floors themselves are warm via radiant heating. Above all the house itself is laid out so well and functional. There are so many nice bonuses: dual toasters, dual ovens, steam showers, huge dining table, dual kitchen sinks, an lcd tv in every bedroom, pool table, list goes on. Mike is also very professional and also easy going - I would absolutely stay again in the future. I highly recommend this as the place if you're looking for a rental. I had researched over 300 entries on vrbo in the breckenridge category and by far this came down to not only the best features but the best deal. 10/10.
