Everything was fantastic. Friendly service, happy hour, hot tub, breakfast; it all lived up to the hype. The rooms are a bit noisy, but the place was built in 1885 so what can you expect. Would definitely stay again.

The breakfast menu was fine, but the sausage was delivered luke wam to the table. The waffle was fine, but the portion was quite small. The staff was not readily available. Overall the food service was the only downside of the visit. The afternoon horsede hour soup was watery and tasteless. The mountain views were wonderful.

First and foremost: The property owner made me feel welcome immediately upon my arrival. Susan is a warm and charming individual. The lovely lodge was built in 1885. The room was clean. The downstairs lounge area had a fine table for both a generous breakfast and afternoon hors d'oeuvres! Hot tub, bicycles available. Nice location. A great lodging experience!

Dorcas was a very friend evening manager, very sweet and amiable. The only thing I'd recommend if the hallway lights upstairs could dim at night, since I had to use the restrooms twice each night and the light fills the room when opening the door. Everything else was exceptional.

Sue was a wonderful host and super helpful. The room was so well restored I took pictures and showed my friends and told them to stay there sometime which I wouldn't normally do.
