Beds weren’t great but sleep able. Need to work on TV or let people know how to get it. Could use some new bath towels. Loved their dog.

Good bones-bad execution
When first entering the property, it seemed ok. However, after a closer look it just seems like we were the guests that the host forgot were coming. There was one washcloth to share between 4 adults, the coffee pot still had coffee grounds from the previous renter, the pans were dirty and needed to be cleaned prior to using, the fridge and freezer had crumbs and spilled liquid frozen at the bottom, towels looked like rags, there are no nightstands next to any of the beds, the one fan provided was covered in dust, the screen for the bedroom was on the ground outside, there were large spiders all over the interior of the cabin (I grew up on a farm and am accustomed to this, but a small perimeter spray would help a lot), there was only a dirty used sponge for dishes (no dishcloth provided-had to use a dish towel), the stools for the island were so short that my chin could rest on the counter when sitting, the internet wires/modems/etc were just sitting on the floor in a pile next to the dining table, there was a dirty washcloth at the foot of our bed, there was dust and grime on surfaces that weren’t used regularly, no towel rack or toilet paper holder in the upstairs bathroom-just a bunch of partially used rolls of toilet paper on a dresser, dishes looked like kids dishes. This place has so much potential…all it really needs is a couple hundred dollars and a day or two to just put the finishing touches on to make this place worth the money spent.

Boone's Cabin
The listing seemed great, but, once we arrived it was a little underwhelming. The cabin could use a better cleaning process and the fridge had food from the last guest. One of the biggest frustrations was the ceiling in the bedrooms and bathroom is less than 6 and half feet tall, so if your tall, it is very uncomfortable. There is a TV, but it has no streaming subscriptions connected to it, or channels to watch. At the end of the day, it worked, but for the price it should have been a better experience. The atmoshpere is there, but it needs to be upkept to the level portrayed in the pictures.

Beautiful and peaceful!
Perfect for our party of three adults to be close to family in the area. Every morning and evening we had visiting deer strolling through, and could watch the horses as we visited on the back patio. Truly lovely visit!

Location/Size
We chose this for the location and size. It was close to our in laws and had just the right amount of room. We had a beautiful view in the morning and the stove kept the home nice and warm.
The only thing I would recommend, make sure you take the time to enjoy the view from the patio.
