9/11 remembrance atop Mount Washington

We were so excited to stay in this beautiful home as it looked perfect for us and our furbabies. The fenced in yard is really what won us over. We have been going to NYC for the past 20 years on 9/11 to honor everyone that was lost on the horrific day. (my husband is a retired FF from CT) This year we were going to join the group (48 flags) which on every 9/11 they climb all the mountains over 4,000 ft. Right after making our reservations we requested a late check out. We were advised that they (Bretton woods Vacations) could not confirm until 24hrs before departure. We explained our plans and they still could not advise until 24hrs prior. So without wanting to wait until the last minute we changed our plans. Within seconds of us stating we no longer needed a late check out they sent us an offer for 25%off to stay Monday night. Funny can't check out a noon an hr later, but we could have it another day. On Monday morning we were eating breakfast and all of a sudden the lawn company shows up to cut the grass, so much for our last hour or so of peace. Our dogs barked and went crazy the entire time they were there. Really they couldn't have waited another hour so we could enjoy our last bit of time there. We let our dogs out back so we could load the car. Next thing we know our dogs are in the front yard. The lawn company left the gate open . Luckly our dogs are not runners or it could have been a terrible situation had they run off, on an already a very emotional day.

Perfect for us!

We had a beautiful time staying here! Our pups loved the yard and my kids enjoyed the house and the games in the basement (we had some pretty great fooseball and dart games going on)! The property itself was well equipped with a fully stocked kitchen. The Keurig was broken when we tried to use it, but the team brough by a new one and were very responsive when we had any questions. They definitely had some animals getting into the crawl space but maintenance took a look when dropping off the coffee machine and found where they were getting in right away. We found the drive to go do things enjoyable and just the right amount of away to feel separated. We loved our stay and would definitely return in the future. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with our family.

Amazing stay!

From the moment we walked in, it was evident the Bretton Woods Vacation team makes every effort to make their guests comfortable. The rental was spotless, well stocked with every sort of kitchen appliance, comfortable furniture and even games in the basement. The location wad perfect. Close to great hiking trails and skiing but secluded too. We'll definitely rent again!

Comfortable, quiet, and attractive cottage

This was an ideal location for us hikers, and wonderful to come back to after a day of playing in the snow. It had everything we needed, comfortable furniture and bedding, and an organized kitchen. Only two suggestions: there were no sharp knives and little room for groceries in the cabinets. Definitely a place to come back to!

Everything we expected and more!

We had a great stay at the property. I went with my girlfriend and dog and the house was perfect for our stay. It was in a good location, had all the amenities we needed and a great fenced in yard, which the dog loved, and a beautiful fire pit.

Slice of heaven…

A beautiful cottage in the White Mountains. It was spacious, clean & comfortable. Quiet at night and close to everything the area has to offer. We saw moose, deer, raccoons and a fox in the area which we loved. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back some day.

Pretty Spot!

This property is in a very quiet neighborhood, lots of privacy. We loved the back yard, for our doggie, he loved it too. I really don't have any cons, except for one thing. The stairs leading off the back deck are a little treacherous for someone with mobility issues. We would like to return to this property in the fall, and it would be great if those stairs would be replaced with safer, easier ones to maneuver. Also, it's kind of a pain to have to dispose of the trash ourselves. The transfer station is only open Monday and Friday, and the weekend. Other than those two minor issues, it was a wonderful stay!! (Loved the shower)

Very nice stay

Very nice place, the house was very clean when we arrived, it has everything you need. The fence yard was a + for our dog. We went skiing to Cannon mountain, which is about 15mins drive, and we had a lovely stay. Alex was very nice and always answered our question very quickly.

Lovely mountain getaway

Lovely property in beautiful surroundings. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable, and is surrounded by hikes and walks of all kinds. We went during off season so we didn’t ski but we drove by some ski mountain or other practically every day. Maintenance was super responsive when we discovered a leak, they were there within 2 hours. Overall it was lovely and relaxing and I would happily stay here again
