We failed to mention that we had another guest coming. We weren't sure how she got into the actual room until we found out the receptionist gave her a key to our room. Got to thinking how unsafe that is being we didn’t let her know and she didn’t call us if we had another guest.

The person that checked us in was not very friendly. The room was not cooling. They have the bed covering the AC unit. We had the temperature at least 60 degree. Each day i tried to get coffee it was empty. I asked if they are going to fill it up she said I'll let them know.

Rude staff

Housekeeping came in our room without knocking an hour after we checked in. When we called the front desk to ask if it was housekeeping staff the front desk staff was extremely rude and dismissive; refused to even confirm whether it was a staff member who entered our room while the room was occupied. I believe the housekeeper was confused due to miscommunication, but this issue was unresolved due to rude, unprofessional customer service at the front desk.

New hotel is slipping

New hotel was fabulous 6 months ago, starting to go down hill. Breakfast area poorly attended, constantly running out of food,coffee. No luggage carts in the lobby no matter what time you look for them in the morning. Weekend, frequently no associate to be found at the reception desk, occasionally a woman that doesnt speak english.

Hotel is new so it's very nice and priced reasonably. Bed was comfortable and the pool was adequate. The location is okay and there are restaurants nearby. The only issue is I heard what sounded like a gun shot in the hotel around 2:30 am other than that all was good.

A night stay in Holiday Inn Express in Haltom

Hotel still smells brand new and condition are excellent, except for minor issues, like the entrance door slammed if you don’t hold it, shower head did not have enough water pressure, the ice machine was not working in the 4th floor, no hand soap by the sink nor hair conditioner in the shower. However, the room was very cleaned and the bed was comfortable. I will definitely stay there again. I will give it 8 out of 10.
