Property was in a good location for us but wasn’t clean when we arrived. Dog hair on the couch and floors. Microwave still had burnt food in it. We spent a couple hours cleaning after arriving. Dryer doesn't work either. Smoke alarms were missing or batteries were removed.

Great place to stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay! The area was minutes away from Okaloosa beach and Destin. The neighborhood was very quiet. We had no issues getting in the place and the property manager was amazing! I can’t wait to come again.

Fun in Fort Walton

The townhouse was a great place to stay. Close to free beaches that were beautiful, a grocery store conveniently less than a mile away, and a quick drive to Destin.

Comments

The entry process was a bit confusing and then there was not a key in the lock box. The cleaning person arrived over 25 minutes later to give us the keys. The ice maker for the refrigerator was leaking onto the kitchen floor where we had to place a towel. No ice was available. I would recommend more towels for 6 people. and maybe more kitchen towels and wash cloths. We had to purchase bath tissue and paper towels and trash bags for the unit. The clothes dryer was inefficient as it took almost 2 hours to dry towels. The location was easy to get to grocery stores and to access Okaloosa island and the beaches.

Property owner very responsive. Neighborhood looks sketchy but it’s just older. Very quiet. Location is close to everything. Property needs some work. Broken blinds, half rolls of toilet paper, backyard needs some attention. Killed 3 roaches while I was there.

We had a good stay where we stayed. It was close to the beach and had good neighbors where we stayed and close to all of the grocery stores and gas stations. In a favorable location as well.

Great value and experience overall

Overall was very pleasant! Could have been a little cleaner and needs a little updating but you can’t beat the price and it was pretty clean overall especially for a high volume rental. Owner was very friendly and helpful giving us lots of recommendations on activities and restaurants! Very responsive to messages. I recommend staying here if you’re on a budget and still want to be close to everything.

This place is NOT a 3bd. The supposed 3rd bedroom is a closet with a bunk, no window, no ac, no air if door is closed. We left right away. Emailed the owner regarding false advertisement, never heard from him and it’s been a few days.

Great location...house needs minor repairs, major updating...not sure what cleaning service they used but definitely fire them...all that aside we had a great week in Florida!

roaches DON'T BOOK HERE

place was not as I expected, if you plan on booking DON'T the place was filled with roaches was not a clean place as soon as light go off roaches sure came out, left place early kids felt uncomfortable also the bed sheets were dirty the dryer didn't work and the list goes on he didn't hire a cleaning person like he claimed he did, when I told him about the roach traps I found under pull out coach said cleaning lady placed them funny thing we arrived early and he was the one who was cleaning there is NO CLEANING LADY he is the one who does the cleaning and he didn't do a good job funny you pay a cleaning fee and yet it wasn't clean. we had to store all our food in fridge because of the roaches .
