Nice

My wife and I really liked this house. We rented it for the Month of February.It was very clean. All the essentials (appliances, furniture, dishes, etc.) we needed were in place. All we had to do was purchase groceries, then it was just like home. The house and neighborhood were quiet. Additionally the house was located near lots of shopping and a short drive to the beach.I had a couple of questions, and the Host Niki responded very fast and very helpful. We were very pleased. I would give this property and the Host an A.Thanks,Barry

Great stay

We had a great stay! The location was perfect for us. The host was quick to respond to an issue with the trash removal when we arrived. It was the previous renter who neglected to have it at the curb for collection. We were expecting 2 beds in 2 of the bedrooms as stated in the description. There is only 1 bed in the 3rd bedroom. Luckily we brought an air bed with us so it wasn’t the worst issue for us, but others would probably want to be prepared as well. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for 8 or more with plenty of space too. The living room furniture and dining room chairs are not comfortable at all, but the beds were comfortable. The house is very clean and organized. We were in town for a softball tournament and the fields were so convenient from the house.

Very clean but lacking typical supplies

The house was very clean and generally comfortable, however, we had five people and each bathroom had exactly one roll of very cheap toilet paper — not even sure they were full rolls. We had to make an extra trip to the store for more even though our stay was only a few days. We also cooked a few meals at house. There was no aluminum foil to cover the baking sheets, which would have been understandable if the baking sheets weren’t rusted and very worn. We were also asked not to leave any dishes in the dishwasher — but we had to check out by 11 the last day, so we had to hand wash any dishes we used to make breakfast that morning (as opposed to loading the dishwasher and turning it on before we left). However, there was also no strainer to let the dishes dry so we also had to hand dry everything. This house was advertised as a great place for big groups to hang out, but it just didn’t seem to be really set up with the expectation that a group might actually spend time there. Typical things I have always found at other rentals (a spare roll of toilet paper for example) just seemed to have been forgotten or maybe considered unimportant.

The house is in a perfect location to the OWA sports complex and to the beach. We had plenty of room for 6 of us. The layout is perfect for hanging and talking. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic home

This home has everything to make you comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all you need. Large rooms, most comfy beds and great yard. Absolutely clean and bright. Great location to everything you need or want in the area. This is the best place we have ever rented. We highly recommend.

Perfect!!!!

Great home furnished with more than you will ever need. My family was blown away with this home, surrounding neighbors and mostly the hospitality of our host Niki! We have used VRBO for years and this has been the best experience to date. Check in was unbelievably easy and proximity to most attractions was within minutes. Cant say enough about Niki and her home. Loved the enclosed garage for safety purposes. Thanks for the lasting memories from the CARR and EDWARDS family !!!!

The place was beautiful and everything was nearby and the beach was just 15 minutes away. The beds were comfortable and we did not want to leave. We would definitely come back and stay at this location again.

Highly Recommend

The house is located in a nice area and very close to all the stores you need. Very friendly neighbors. The backyard is huge and kids can run as much as possible. Communication with the property manager was extremely easy as well.

Clean, spacious home for 7+

Nice home, very clean. Very spacious. Quiet neighborhood away from the evening noise of the beach front. We have a family of 7 with kids ranging from 8 to 20 yrs. We all fit nicely with plenty of room to spare. It felt like home. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. Everyone slept soundly. Basic needs taken care of, but of you are staying more than a couple days, you might need to bring or purchase supplies like garbage bags and toilet paper. We spent most of our time at the beach, but for evenings kids would have loved having a game or two (i.e. bean bag toss, ping-pong, billiards?). Also would have been nice to have some beach supplies (chairs, umbrella). Fortunately we brought a shelter for the beach, but we didn't have chairs. We were able to purchase what we needed (but be careful for price gouging at local stores). Also, we couldn't find a place to hang wet towels/clothes to dry after the beach. Nevertheless, I still give it 5 stars for cleanliness, being up-to-date/modern, and spacious. Overall a great vacation and a clean, spacious place to stay for a large family. For local activities we recommend the Gulf Shores public beach, Dolphin tours by ColdMil, and Alligator Alley. Wish we had time to do more.

Baseball Tournament

The house was very conveniently located to all the ball parks, beach, and restaurants. There was plenty of room in the open concept main area to spread out and enjoy family time. This house was very accommodating for my elderly mother and met all our needs.

I almost never give a 5 star review

The property was exactly like advertised. The kitchen was well stocked. The place was beyond clean and comfortable. They provided garage door opener so we could use the garage. Outdoor space was great. We only used master bedroom and it was actually comfortable. Pillows not so much, but honestly that is minor. There were game and books available to use which was a nice touch.

Amazing Location!

It begins with the seamless check-in process and only levels up from there. The home offers all of the little things that add to the home away from home vibe. You can’t beat the location, the exquisite master suite, open concept kitchen/family room and quiet neighborhood. It’s safe to say that we would return!

Thanksgiving 2022

Property was very centrally located to shopping, beach, restaurants, grocery stores. We had a few questions regarding property and owner returned a response very promptly. We found plenty of dishes, serving bowls, cooking utensils to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. Along with storage bowls for leftovers. Home is nicely furnished and very friendly neighborhood. Our 10 year old granddaughter made friends with neighbors four children and they had a great time playing outdoors. Will definitely stay here again.
