Wonderful place for an extended-family visit!

Hideaway Cove was the perfect place for our long weekend family get-together. It is secluded, yet only a few minutes from town, so grocery shopping or dining out are no problem. Having living areas upstairs and downstairs worked very well when it was time to get the littles calmed down for bed. (Calming down happened downstairs because the TOYS are upstairs). The rooms are large enough for our group of 9 to enjoy one another without feeling crowded. Hideaway Cove is warm, cozy, and peaceful, and we are looking forward to another stay during warmer weather. :)

Great family place!

Holli was so accommodating and answered ALL my questions. :) The place is cut into two levels with living spaces on each. The kids loved the air hockey table. The hammock swing chairs on the screened in dock were my personal favorite. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

Spacious

The upstairs and downstairs made it very comfortable. It allowed for the older individuals to be upstairs and not be bothered or inconvenienced by the younger family members.

Great Family House

This house was perfect for me and my brother to stay and our SIX kids. The air hockey and fooseball table were a hit! We loved that the floors were separated so that the adults could have some quiet time and the baby could nap. Also a huge bonus was having a crib there so I didn’t have to pack something for the baby to sleep in. The only “issue” I had, which really wasn’t an issue was the ottoman in the living room had not been vacuumed out and it had dog hair and food in the dips of the ottoman. I knew however this was a dog friendly place so I just got the vacuum out and vacuumed it myself, no big deal! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice Place on the Lake

The house was very nice and very well equipped. There were A LOT of stairs! If you have older folks like we did, it was not that easy for them get around. But there was plenty of room, and anything we could need! I'm not sure we would stay there again because of the stairs, but for a younger group with good knees, it is a great place! The boat dock and screened in area was really nice too.

Cousin’s reunion

The property was just fine. House was roomy. Lots of spaces to visit inside and out. I just wish I had paid attention to the stairs. It was hard for the matriarchs to do those steps. But they made it. Wish there was a handbook on sight to tell about community stores, restaurants and community events. Maybe an exit list left on site so manager doesn’t have to send one. Holli was fabulous!!! Will use her again. Probably next year but use a house with no steps.

Great Experience

We came in for the Dixie Youth World Series in Ruston Louisiana and this house was perfect!!! We enjoyed the air hockey table and corn hole boards. The view is excellent. We would definitely be back if it wasn’t so far!

The perfect getaway

This house was perfect in every way. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and have their own space. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen we have had in any rental. Beautiful patio and the kayaks were a big hit with the kids. The host was quick to answer any questions I had. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful, kid-friendly house!

We had a great time with our family at Hideaway Cove. Our kids (ages 9 to 18 months) loved all the toys and games that were provided at the house. The living areas are so comfy and spacious, and it was plenty big for two families. We absolutely loved the lake access, and the dock was great! It was screened in so you could watch the sunset on the water. Magic!

Perfect Place for a Family Vacation

We stayed here for a local family reunion. I stayed here with my family and my cousin and his family. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable. Lots of room and beautiful views. We caught several catfish from the dock during our stay. We experienced a thunderstorm the night before we left and the view from the dock was amazing. Lightening shows looked like fireworks. Holli was amazing as a hostess. Communication was top notch and she made obvious efforts to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Beautiful place!

This property is beautiful & very well stocked The only complaint we had is the lighting in the entrance way. One of our family members fell. The steps are odd sizes so it needs to be well lit. Holli was a very good contact. She always answered us promptly and was very nice. The coffee pot basket is missing just so you know. We used our coffee pot. We caught a lot of fish. The boat house was really nice. ( needs a good scrubbing before summer!) lovely highly recommend place. With lots of stairs!

Great house for large group

We were very happy with the total layout of the property. It is just inside a cove on the water which made it feel private. My pier and boathouse were solid, which allowed us to feel comfortable with our grandchildren fishing from the pier. There is a very nice grassy area at the water which allowed us to play with football and cornhole (the house had a cornhole game, although we took our own). The very large deck was perfect for our gathering. The house was clean and the set up was perfect as we had friends come over to grill (nice grill). We have a beach house and VRBO all over the country and i can truly say i have not been in a house that was as well stocked as this house ! You will not regret this house! we will be back! Thanks to Holli for making our trip great!

Family Spring Break

This choice of rental is a great place to enjoy with family and friends. Plenty of room to relax with multiple balconies, to a spacious dock with option to rent kayaks, fishing, swimming and more! Fun for the whole family!
