This was our first trip to Colorado. We booked our stay at Crimson Cabin based on location thinking that the central location of the cabin (in the state) would allow us to make day trips to Rocky Mountain National Park, Black Canyon of the Gunnison and Garden of the Gods. The view from the cabin itself is spectacular! The night sky is glorious! We even had a mama bear visit with her cub early one morning!!! The cabin itself had all the kitchen supplies we required (dishes). There was plenty of hand soap, towels, dish detergent, paper towels, etc. There was, however only one washcloth in the cabin when we arrived. Since my party consisted of three people and we paid for five nights, I immediately contacted the host. Though I did get a response, I never received any additional washcloths or an explanation that we were to bring our own. I did go back to review the description of the cabin. I couldn’t find anything listed about bringing your own washcloths. Each day spent in Colorado was amazing and exhausting! However, the nights were not restful. The beds in the cabin are very uncomfortable. The king-size mattress was hard and the two standard size pillows provided were subpar. My son slept in the second room and gave a similar review for that bed. Unfortunately, we lost the last night’s rent and opted to get a hotel room so we could bathe with a washcloth and get a good night’s rest before returning home.
