Located in the arts district where small artists, artisans and boutiques encircle the property, this hotel is well located BUT FOR Construction entering the square preceding the hotel. Not well lit nor does it afford easy walkable access at night.
However, service at hotel is very good- they went the extra mile in giving us a to-go breakfast package because we had to leave for airport before 7am.
Any accommodation which has “Pousada “ preceding the name promises to be of high quality. Recommended.

Beautiful property and gardens. Amazing breakfast, made to order and you’re overlooking a lovely garden with the resident peacocks. Wine with appetizers every evening. Fado singers on some evenings. The staff were wonderful, helpful and very accommodating. Beautiful rooms and very comfortable. We had 2 nights here but wished we spent more time here just relaxing at the property. Definitely recommend!!
