"My mom and I took a getaway for her 80th birthday and stayed at Sugarcreek Village Inn. The room was spotless and even smelled clean. It appeared to have been recently updated with comfortable and tasteful decor. The bed was very comfy. We felt very safe and secure as you need two codes to get into the building and then into the room. The massage chair was an added bonus. They provide ice and water which we were very grateful for.If I were to recommend anything, it would be to have a couple chairs and a small table in the room. We brought dinner back to the Inn, but there was nowhere in the room to eat it. It didn’t matter to us because the big beautiful porch had tables that we could sit at to eat since the weather was nice, but that could be a problem for people visiting in the winter. Better lighting in the bathroom would also helpful. The instructions on getting in the building and checking out are on a little card that they provide at check-in. I ran into several folks that did not know how to check out or get into the building. Perhaps mentioning this at check-in could help with the confusion. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle, but close to anything you need. We met some very nice people here and would 100% recommend this for someone looking for a quiet, comfortable friendly place to stay."
