The pictures show a nice bed with two windows and abundant light. That is not what you get. We had one small narrow window that wouldn’t open and that the shade had to stay down for privacy. The other bedroom is behind a locked door, and it costs additional money.
I texted the owner when we got there and he did not respond for a few hours, even though he was on property. I asked about internet and he kept saying it was in the bedroom instead of just giving me the password. He was very condescending and obnoxious.
He did leave a 10 page “booklet” to let us know what we can and can’t do. There were many don’t make on this list including don’t walk in front of the house: go around the back and use the path to the beach.
At 9:30 at night, he sent his son to tell us we needed to move our car because that was where his grandfather parked. We moved it and we’re then told we couldn’t park there either, although numerous other of their family parked in the circle and blocked it.
Someone was in our apartment everyday, turning the temperature way up and goodness knows what else. There was no stove, no oven, a dorm style refrigerator and a 6 inch wide sink, which made it difficult to do dishes (no dishwasher)
In summary, we felt like we were living in our parents basement ( no sunlight, 3 small rooms and the 10 page rule book). The rental said kayaks and other activities but there was none there for us. In short, he was seemed to be an entitled person who was very condescending and rude.
