Cozy cabin with everything you need

My husband and I planned a last minute getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We wanted to see Bushkill Falls and I really wanted to unplug and relax in nature. What a perfect place for that. It was a quiet area and very peaceful. My favorite spot was sitting in the Adirondack chairs just listening to the sound of the creek and nature. Bushkill Falls was a great hike too. The cabin had thoughtful, extra touches that made the stay perfect!

Loved this stay!

Absolutely perfect spot to get away. The cabin was beautifully decorated and clean, with a kitchen that was easy to cook in. The creek was absolutely gorgeous!!!! Would be thrilled to go back someday.

Great place to unplug

This was just what we were looking for... A very nice cabin in a very quiet area. Close enough to local attractions like ski areas and indoor water parks, but secluded when back at the cabin. The river/stream out the front door is amazing. I'd imagine a summer stay would be great too.

Relaxing weekend

This place was exactly what we were looking for in a PA cabin. The beds are extremely comfortable, the cabin has every pot/pan/dish necessary to cook for your whole family. The wood burning stove and outdoor fire pits were completely stocked and set up for us. The property was perfect for all ages to relax and be outdoors. There was absolutely nothing else required to relax, just show up and listen to the creek and have a wonderful time. Can’t wait it to come back again in the spring!

Weekend with my daughter to experience fall folliage and see area. Few cabin was so nice next to creek with bonfire that we didn’t want to leave.

It was beautiful. Clean fresh air. Cabin was exactly as described. The kitchen was big. Appliances were up to date. Rooms were clean beds were fresh. TV & WI-FI was available. Everything was was perfect.

Awesome Cabin

I stayed a week in August with my wife, mother in law, 2 month old, and our 12 year old dog. This cabin had everything and the location was perfect. We enjoyed cooking breakfast inside, drinking coffee by the creek, cooking dinner on the grill, making a fire at night, and just relaxing! The grocery store was close by as well as plenty of places to eat out. We enjoyed going to Bushkill Falls which is dog friendly, just be prepared for a lot of steps! The hosts are super friendly and very accommodating, thanks for the firewood Dan! The creek along the property is beautiful and big enough to fish or hang out in an inflatable float. 10/10 highly recommend this place!

Stay was perfect. House was clean. Especially bathroom and kitchen. Has washer and dryer if needed, Kids did tubing in the creek. Fishing right off property. Free stocked firewood for camp fire. Perfect to get away and reflect on your family and nature! Highly recommend!!

Creekside Retreat is a Gem!

This rental is amazing and the hosts are phenomenal! The cabin itself is tucked back in the forest of the Bushkill Creek valley with the creek rippling through the backyard. If you are looking for a peaceful and secluded getaway, this is the rental to book. Jen and Dan are welcoming hosts with great communication and are determined to make sure your stay is a great one! Highly recommend!

Healing vacation

I have stayed at this property before and after having surgery on my shoulder, knew that this is where I wanted to go to convalesce it was very peaceful. The property is beautiful and the owners are wonderful people. I will definitely stay here again and I appreciate everything they do to make their Customers as comfortable as possible

Family Girls Trip

My teenage girls and I wanted a mountain get a way weekend. This property was everything we were looking for. We had a lovely day hiking at bushkill falls. Spent the next day just lazing in tubes, playing in the creek and fishing (we have no idea how to fish and caught nothing, but we enjoyed doing it probably all wrong lol). We could have spent another full day doing just that! The house was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms were comfortable. And everything was clean. The hosts were friendly, responsive and so easy to work with. We hope to be back again!

Booked for the creek and the trees!

We had the best time here with our two dogs! They loved the creek, we loved the creek and the trees and it was fun to go explore some nearby waterfalls. We wanted a quick escape from our busy lives into the trees and that’s what we got at Creekside. Jen was so kind and communicative and the checkin & checkout process was so easy. They’ve done a great job with this home and it is in a beautiful pocket of the world. I’m so grateful they’ve opened up their home, will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Perfect place to rejuvenate!

This is a slice of heaven! You never realize how much you need to decompress and rejuvenate until it’s happened. This beautiful creekside cabin has what you need to relax and unwind with all the comforts of home but now you get a babbling creek, privacy, shade and some sun, with a fire pit. AMAZING!!! The home is well kept, clean, with modern amenities. They literally have everything you need and then some. Beds are super comfortable with tvs in each of the rooms. And the hosts are wonderful with a friendly, open line of communication. I’m so thankful that they have this place to share with everyone! I can’t wait to visit again! My 9yo son was beyond thrilled with this place. His favorite part was being able to fish in the creek and go for a swim along with making a camp fire. Oh and he loved the Wi-Fi for his fav video games and having a huge bed all to himself along with a tv in his room. I’m the worst when it comes to sleeping out of my bed, I SLEPT at the cabin. And we got to bring our snuggle pug with us and the little princess loved the birds, deer, creek and fire pit. I can’t say anything else about this place. It was a perfect get away for us.

Creekside is magical!

I am not sure where to start so I will start at the beginning. When I was looking for a long overdue getaway for my husband and I found a few places and I reached out to the hosts with questions. Immediately, I received a response from Jen and I instantly knew that this was going to be our place. She was so informative, helpful, and lovely. It was like she cared that this would be the right place for us and not just looking for $$$. About a week before we were to check in, Jen & Dan reached out to let us know that they lost the central air at the cabin. It happened to be the really, really hot week in Jersey/PA. They did everything they could to provide portable units for the current guests and gave us the option to cancel. No way! We knew this was the right place and we decided to go for it. The night before check in there was a bad storm and Creekside lost power. Jen and Dan did everything they could to reach us and provide everything we needed and more. The power came back on thankfully - we didn't even care that much. This place is pure magic. Best sleep ever. The most comfortable bed and the sound of the creek is heaven. I really never wanted to leave and can't wait to return with our kids. You will not be sorry for booking this one! Go to Creekside - unplug and find your magic.

Renter beware

The cabin was cute and very clean. The outside area has a fire pit, 4 iron chairs and 2 Adirondack chairs closer to the creek. They are chained to a tree so they couldn’t be moved. The creek is awesome , flowing and clean. The ad states “pet friendly” however I found out later that there was an extra pet fee. I can understand this as it might require deeper cleaning, but I vacuumed thoroughly upon checkout. It was a great weekend getaway, close to home and surrounded by nature. The owners were always available and answered all my questions. However, when I found the rental ad, it was listed for $x night. When I received the reservation, I was charged $^x per night. I then asked what happened to the $x per night? The owner said “I am not sure when the price was $x although rates have changed from time to time according to VRBO pricing suggestions they provide.” Well the rate was $x the night I requested booking. Hmmm The owner then stated she could give us half off the fee for an extend stay-which is great however we were only booking for the weekend. I later became more discouraged when I learned of a host fee and a service fee. I have booked on VRBO for over. 10 years and have never paid such fees. Our 2 night stay was way more than 2 nights including tax and pet fee. Ouch! Again , great property, clean accommodations but probably won’t be back.

Had an amazing stay. Beautiful all around. Cabin was extremely clean and had everything imaginable that may be needed or wanted for a relaxing stay. Dan and Jen were extremely helpful and reached out to ensure we had everything we needed. Our girls (and dog) loved the creek! Highly recommend staying here and hope we can again in future.

Best vacation EVER!!

I was in the area for my son’s wedding. I decided to make it a vacation as well and came up a week before the wedding. The hosts were very attentive to all my needs and even came out and sprayed for spiders( deathly afraid)! This was the most relaxing vacation I’ve ever had and the cabin is quiet and peaceful with just the sound of the creek. I’ve already started making plans to make this a yearly retreat!! The hosts are so accommodating and want nothing but for you to have an amazing stay. I definitely recommend this cabin if you are looking for a stress free vacation!!
