Perfect Family Getaway!

We had an incredible stay at this farmhouse! It had everything we needed—comfortable bedding, a fully stocked kitchen, and the real highlight: an amazing pool and hot tub. We never even left during our stay because we cooked every meal and spent our days outside enjoying time together as a family. So many great memories were made with our two boys. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway!

Perfect Stay – Can’t Wait to Return!

Peaceful Retreat – Just What We Needed! As we drove through the gate, there were deer in the front yard. It was the perfect beginning! The pool, hot tub, fire pits, horseshoes were fantastic! We are already planning our return!

Rustic charming farmhouse

I booked this property last minute because my son had a baseball tournament at CTX Fields little did I know it was the next driveway down pretty much! Most perfect spot. It was a one minute drive to the baseball tournament.

Not worth the cost

I recently stayed at this property and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. The house was not clean upon arrival, and the ceiling fans in some of the rooms were not functioning, making it uncomfortable. Additionally, we were unable to get the hot tub to work, which was a major letdown. The pool maintenance person arrived early on Monday, preventing us from swimming that morning. The kitchen was also problematic. The dishes appeared to have been poorly washed, and the cookware provided was old and worn out. Furthermore, the TVs in both the living room and bedroom were small, outdated, and inadequate for a pleasant movie night. Overall, I do not believe that the property was worth the price I paid. The issues significantly impacted the quality of our stay, and I would not recommend this property to others.

Great little weekend getaway with friends!

The property was very cozy. The house was clean. Only suggestion was have someone take a look at the refrigerator door hinge. It makes a popping sound every time you open up the refrigerator section. Overall, the house was very nice! Well maintained pool and landscaping too!

Family get away

The house has ample room for a large family. While the weather as a bit cool we did use the pool and the spa. The spa is difficult to run as the controls are not easy to figure out. Since the house has a pool it would be helpful if the house included pool towels but we could not find any. Overall the house is nice but a bit dated. The grounds are beautiful and we did see a fox come right up to the fire pit.

Spring Break 2024

This home was perfect for our stay in Texas. Location is secluded and quiet. Pool was nice and well maintained. Sunset each day was beautiful. We were so close to San Antonio and Austin that we were able to visit both on multiple days. If we return to this area in the future we will be looking to stay here again.

Great location for Dripping Springs & Johnson City

This was a girls' trip weekend that included a wine tasting tour. The house is a perfect location for that. Our trip included a tour of Barton Springs Mill & Abby Jane Bakeshop (very close to the house), Bell Springs winery, Treat Oak Distilling, Jester King, William Cris winery, Sandy Road winery, Chocolates El Reys, & Blumenthal Farm for craft cocktails (not all in one day). The house is very nicely furnished and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the hot tub (the weather was too cool for the pool) and the fire pit. We plan to return.
