Matthew is quick to respond, considerate and helpful.Catching Rays is simply furnished, uncluttered, has a washer and dryer. It is close to all three pools and pickleball and tennis court.The grounds has good walking area including a foot bridge crossing the lake. Turtle viewing.Convenient location for Destin beaches, shops and restaurants.

Perfect location

Close enough to everything you need and would want to do. About a 20 min bike ride to the public beach. We really enjoyed ourselves!

Perfect condo

We really enjoyed our stay. Very short walk to the beach and short drive to the main strip. Only sad we could stay for one night before we had to hit the road back to NC. We’d love to come back!

Communication with this host is very easy. Host is kind and responsive! The location of this place is great. It’s not too over ran with people, but it’s extremely close to everything. We walked A LOT to places. Big Kahuna is super close. Donut shop just ran down the street. My family ran to the beach a couple times. The dog park in the complex is very cute and peaceful. We loved the heated pool and the pickleball courts that are just right out the sliding glass door. FIRST FLOOR!!! No luggage hauling up stairs. No dragging dogs up and down stairs. Hearing foot steps (THAT CANT BE CONTROLLED by the HOST of this property… it’s life in a downstairs unit) is worth it to not drag luggage up stairs and have easy access to letting the dogs out. our noise from upstairs neighbors was not bad at all. We heard foot steps occasionally. That’s about it. Location here is everything! Host… fantastic with communication. Price… on point in my opinion. And they allow dogs!!!! Peaceful, easy, safe and fun stay for sure. Would feel confident in returning to this unit with this host in the future. They don’t list weird rules when checking out. They host you, say thank you and off you go.Obviously, respect their property and clean up before you leave their place, but you don’t have a check list of tasks laid out before you do. I loathe the hosts that have you military clean their place before you leave and then white glove check it hoping to charge you a huge cleaning fee.not like that here

Family spring break

Catching Rays vrbo condo was a great choice for my family and Dog. Arrived Late at night and were were welcomed into a lit up condo. Access and instructions to access gate were very simple. The place was stocked with enough to get you by in case you were prepared. Enough towels for the whole family and roll out beds for the kiddos. Very clean place was a big plus for me and we tried to leave it as clean as we found it! Heated pool right across our place and another regular pool one building down and another pool behind if you took the bridge across! This place also had a cute little kennel just like ours at home to put our small dog in when the couple times we were not able to take her with us! Truly appreciate the check in messages to see if we needed anything. I would recommend and rebook this property when in Destin again!

This is a nice condo on the 1st floor. Bonus - no stairs for bad knees. It was bigger than we thought. We had 6 full grown people and small dog and we had plenty of room. We stayed 4 nights. The access instructions were clear and easy. We are arrived to a clean already chilled space. Yay for A/C in the summer! The couch/chairs/beds are comfy. TVs in the living room/bedroom. Wi-Fi was easy to connect to. There was bedding/pillows for all the beds. But if you need extra, be sure to bring along with you. We took advantage of the kitchen and cooked breakfast and dinner a few times. We also used the washer/dryer. It's a stackable apartment size so had to do a couple of loads to equal a normal full sized load. Very close to the pool and tennis courts but it was pretty quiet when we were there. We did utilize the sliding door to go back and forth to the vehicles since it faced the parking lot and the front door is on the interior side. We were able to park 2 vehicles right outside of the condo. The back entrance off Airport Rd was very convenient to come and go from the complex. This place is centrally located to everything in Destin. The complex is right behind (walking distance across the turtle lake) to Shake's Custard. Yum! And if you forgot anything, Wal-Mart is less than 2 miles away. Communication with Matthew was prompt and attentive. He addressed all of our questions quickly. I would recommend this place if you are planning to visit Destin. We enjoyed our stay!
