Dude in the front was super helpful, polite, and super welcoming! The room was amazing! Super clean, very spacious, and comfy bed! We stood there 2 night and had book the spa treatment, super relaxing! We basically had the whole pool to ourselves as well, which was very nice! I would recommend this place and go back!

My daughter and her girlfriends stayed 2 nights. Check in was smooth and when she entered her room she saw a big roach on the carpet. Gross! Told her don’t worry I will write a review on this hotel. I’m going to reach out to the hotel and let them know. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel!

I couldn't find the staff when checking in. I called the number on the front desk and no answer. I just sat and waited. Employee eventually showed up. Toilet was broken in room and went back to lobby to report the handle was broken and couldn't flush it. Employee was gone again and no answer on the phone number on the counter to call when not staffed. Breakfast starts late at 7:30 and I was gone by then. I've stayed here many times and it's getting worse. Oh, hot tub is not very hot but pool was comfortable.

Darling Oasis

Onsen was a darling desert oasis in Spa City. From our home base of Onsen, we spent seven days exploring Joshua Tree national park and the state park Indian Canyon. After a long day of hiking, we returned to Onsen to enjoy its large mineral pool and enormous hot tub. (By the way, the mineral water is silky and buoyant. A nice surprise!) We also explored the adjacent neighborhood. Onsen suggested Deliciouso and Taste of India. The recommendations were on spot - both were culinary gems. Not enough could be said about the graciousness of the staff. We would highly recommend Onsen and only wish its location to Chicago!!

The Onsen is a very nicely renovated property. Large, comfortable rooms. Great continetal breakfast included with the rooms. Tracy did our check-in and she is lovely. Very friendly and pleasant to deal with. We would definitely consider staying here again if we find ourselves in the area.
