Unfortunately, this stay was not what we expected. The booking was misleading. There was no available pool to use at the resort at all, both indoor and outdoor were shut down/drained. There was one working elevator, the front doors didn't work (had to use side doors), the parking garage was closed. Just very disappointing stay. When asked host, was only told, the rate was appropriately discounted, and we posted lack of amenities. What is interesting is that the booking showed everything functioning, pictures, details, etc. It wasn't until you scrolled ALL the way down past other bookings pictures did you see a small note about No Amenities. All they asked for was pictures to verify this. Yes, the room was clean which we appreciated but I feel the host should have been more transparent especially about having no pool access at a beach resort. Having one line at the extreme bottom of the booking is not transparent, regardless of the cost. We still spent 500 for our weekend and had to park at a lot to the side of the resort, wait endlessly for a working elevator, and have no pool. The hallways consistently smelled of pot, the doors were boarded up on the ground level like they were preparing for a hurricane. Caution tape was covering the non-working elevators.
