Overall great property! Plenty of space for sleeping, gathering and overall quality time together. Liked the openness and felt it was clean & tidy. Only thing we noticed were pots & pans were worn and some not as cleaned as we would have liked, but not a show-stopper. Only other negative is fewer bathrooms than we thought. Shared bathrooms aren’t as convenient /private.Loved the setting - nestled in the woods and nice privacy. Fairly convenient to grocery, small shops and restaurants.The host provided good response time.Overall thumbs-up!

The privacy was amazing but house was minutes from shops, food, etc. House was so beautiful… wish we had time to stay longer! PLENTY of room! Internet worked fine and we have lots of devices. I HIGHLY recommend! We will be back!

This house was the perfect answer to my Thanksgiving plans. The hosts Ms. Daya & Ms. Judy was so kind & welcoming. The holiday spirit was set with a beautiful Christmas tree in the entrance way. My family and I were here for four wonderful days. This house meet every need inside and outside. The bedrooms, bathrooms and all the common areas was accommodating. We had thanksgiving day dinner, we had a day for fish fry & crab boil , a day for a BBQ. The location was great! This house has everything except you so hurry and book before I book again lol. This house is a winner.

Stayed here the week of my wedding with my family that flew in from all over. There was plenty of room for everyone lots of bathrooms and space to spread out. Great outdoor area we had a few questions and the host got back to us immediately. Overall we enjoyed our stay. There are lots of stairs so that would the only thing to think about when booking especially if you have littles.

The house was perfect for seven guys on a Robert Trent Jones Golf week. Each of us had our own room and one guy had the bunk room so he got to sleep in a different bed every night if he wanted. The sitting areas out back were great too. Only four issues.1. The ice maker left of the sink was off limits because of mold on the door and theleft side and ceiling of the ice maker.2. Toilets on the 1st and 2nd floor need to be updated. You shouldn't have to hold the button until it fully flushes. That was a pain, especially how short they were. 3. No instructions on how to use the TVs. Thank God one of our guys was able to stream the baseball playoff games. Couldn't get local ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX channels. 4. Likes:1. Loved the Harry Potter bed under the stairs. I was going to make that my sleeping area if we ran short on beds.2. Loved the decor and the seasonal decorations down to the trick or treat candy by the sink. 3. The beds were comfortable according to the guys. I had the 2nd floor front room and i slept like a rock. Would we stay there again? 90% chance.

Internet service at the property was very poor. Could not get the property address to come up on GPS. Need a better method to get to address so people can locate/find it. The commodes on the main level are too low and need better flushing mechanism. Push button is okay, but you have to hold it forever it seems before it would flush. Other than these issues the stay was great!

Pictures didn't do the house justice. You have to go and see it in person. It was the biggest most luxurious I've ever stayed in since going away from staying in hotel and motels. It made me feel like I was home. Loved exploring the trails in the back of the house. Plan on renting again this summer if available.

The Compound

We affectionately called this place the compound. We were in the area for a family wedding and really enjoyed having a place to stay and relax. Tucked back in the woods - very quiet and peaceful. All the amenities you need. Spacious and charming - we would rent again.
