Billing and communication mostly took place out of VRBO which made it difficult to book on behalf of corporate travel. Constant need to enter the property for appraisals. Otherwise property worked out great for a month long stay.

Misleading

The conditions under which I rented changed as the date approached and there was nothing I could do about it. The worst was I was promised places for five cars, but it was changed to two the day we arrived. As a rental for 18 people, parking for two cars isn't sufficient. The description of the bedrooms did not communicate how odd the layout is with two bedrooms combined into one large room. The pool wasn't cleaned until the last day we were there, which means it was unusable until then because of recent storms. I do not recommend this property for more than eight people.

Great Home for Families

This property was great for our two familes. Plenty of room and the kids had lots to keep them busy and allow the adults to have time without them always around, ha. Theater room was a big hit with the kids and so was the game room with pool table and ping pong table. Pool would have been great, but we traveled during winter, so only got to use the hot tub and that was nice to have. Highly recommend for familes. Plus the location was close to everything.

Great family spot!

The game room was fun as was the movie theater room! The pool was full of leafs, but they had them cleaned out the second day!

"Gentle Reminders"

Not a place or management company I will stay with again. I own VRBO properties and this was a bad experience and good lesson. If you enjoy getting "gentle reminders" multiple times per day via email and text about maintenance (asking for our help no less with the pool), check-out time in two days, check-out time tomorrow, check-out time this morning, make sure there is dead silence at 9PM...then this is the place for you. The owners claim that this is their home and this is their neighborhood. (Not sure I buy it, as this house is part of a large rental pool in the Dallas market) Incessant communication was terribly annoying and did not feel welcoming. Felt a little stalking. Just because you start a communication with the words "gentle reminder" doesn't make it "gentle". Kind of like me saying, "They clearly just slapped paint on walls and called it remodeled; bless their hearts". See what I did, there? The house was in a good location. Everything worked. Nothing spectacular or wrong with it. Just a nice house in a safe neighborhood. Feels a little like a hostel due to bedrooms and beds everywhere. Feels like spaces were converted to bedrooms, just to generate more $$$$. Part of a large management company called Golden Nest Property Management. Look them up before renting here. Be prepared to give more personal information to them than is necessary to rent a house for a long weekend. Does not feel like a VRBO experience, in my opinion. Nothing personal about it.

The house was fine with modern decor. The beds on the main floor bedrooms were low to the ground and family room furniture had low backs. I’m sure the low backs were to be able to not obstruct view of tv from the kitchen.. but if you are tall, it was not confortable.

Great layout!

This house worked very well for our sibling reunion! The kitchen is large, the upstairs media room was fantastic and we all enjoyed the billiards and ping pong table located in the garage. The neighborhood area was nice!

Beautiful Home

This is an amazing home, very clean. Plenty of room for everyone and lots of fun things to do. We had a blast whether it was inside or out in the pool. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

We LOVED this home!

The home is delightful, especially for families with children. The projector TV media room was SO comfortable and so accommodating for our kids and adults alike!!! The garage "play room" is amazing with a ping pong table, pool table, connect four and bouncy balls. The hot tub was greatly enjoyed. We wished the pool was heated, because the kids would have probably rejected gifts to stay in the pool! The walk to the playground close by was easy and safe and the playground was fabulous!!!!! Lots of paper goods, laundry detergent and dryer sheets....is not always the case with a VRBO. The owners were prompt to respond to our questions and were polite and kind. We had a great time making memories in this house! Overall, the experience was a perfect 10!

Lots of space, good kitchen with appliances. Hot tub bathtub did not work and the one outside was hard to get into but the family loved it. Nice to have choice of pool and hot tub. Enjoyed the volleyball pool. Not very handicapped accessible and hard on old people knees. All furniture short and beds were so low you needed help to get out of bed. It was a great place to gather and the teens loved it but as a family we would not use again. Great place for active people and teens.

Dirty and smelled awful

Worst short term rental I’ve stayed in. There were dead and alive bugs throughout the house, dog hair and dust everywhere, kitchen was not clean and a very very strong “air freshener” smell that seemed like it was coming out of the air vents itself. Also, the back door was open when we arrived. The only reason we stayed was because it had a pool and we had no other options. I contacted the property manager upon arrival about these issues, and they promised a cleaner would come out the following day. No cleaners ever showed.
