Cabin At A Wildlife Sanctuary - Diego’s Cabin

Have you ever wanted the opportunity to feed an egg to a fox? Or feed a lemur? Hand feed a deer or sheep? Dance with a cockatoo? If so you’ll get to have these and many more experiences here during your stay. Our Cabin is different, and our main focus is on offering rememberable experiences to our guests.

We have a small family run 501C-3 wildlife sanctuary here on our 18 acre facility that you will be staying at. We do live on the property, but in a detached house across the driveway
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchenette and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board.

FANTASTIC STAY

My mother, myself, and my 2 kids aged 14 and 2 stayed here and had the best time of our lives. We left STILL talking about all the animals and the different encounters we had. Diego's cabin is literally surrounded by animals. All we had to do was look out a window to experience yet another animal. Kevin the peacock is my daughter's new best friend and she is still asking to go feed the piggie. Dona was amazing. Great communication and you can hear the passion she has for the place whenever she speaks about her animals. Her husband even changed my flat tire for me! (Flat was unrelated to their property grounds just to clarify). The cabin was perfect, comfortable, and a great place to hang out in between animal visits. The kitchen has everything we needed. It was such a a memorable experience we hope to come back!

Cute Cabin

This Vrbo stay was just what we needed. We came to Florida for multiple funerals so it wasn’t a happy trip but our Host made this process so much easier and it was so nice to see all the animals on the property.
