The home has visual appeal from the first moment you see it
Through the front door, you immediately notice the volume of light airiness in the home. Stylish, modern furniture and accents are soothing, cozy and welcoming. There is just enough of “cabin” to remind you of the mountains around you – which you can’t forget because of all the windows and wonderful views.
The gas fire place in the living room will pull your group together while knocking the chill off. The dining room table generously seated our party of 5 adults, a 4-year-old and 3-year-old. Under the open back staircase became the preschooler’s place.
The kitchen graciously accepted our three cooks and was was well stocked for our holiday meal.
The screened in back deck, running the width of the home, was another favorite gathering spot. The children considered it being outside and spent much of their time playing there, close to us, safe from the river. At night, it was the place to grab one of the many throws in the home, for snuggling, reviewing the day and nighttime prayers. During the one chilled rainy day we were there, it was a life saver.
Both the river and the fire pit will be included in our pleasant memories.
The bedrooms and linens were comfortable. We enjoyed having use of the washer, dryer and iron/ironing board.
The home’s location in a community did not detract from our enjoyment of it. Town was close enough that a run to a grocery store, pharmacy or restaurant was a breeze. Near
